How important is the Temple to you?

I had been worried about this for a while now, but sometimes it's easy to forget that the internet isn't maintained by magic (Yeah, even a tech can forget sometimes XP)

I let school and my new PS3 keep me away. If there's any doubt about weather you'll be able to continue maintaining the site on your equipment, let me know. It's about time I built my new server anyways.

I'm wondering if Pokemon as a whole has enough of a fanbase to even capture new blood. I mean Nintendo has just been remaking old classics lately (Fire Red, Leaf Green, and the new set SoulSilver and HeartGold) which works great for us old farts but beyond that...

This site may just end up an empty husk of what was once a forum with an archive of old data tacked on to it.

It may be worth trying however. But priorhand I'd at least like upgrade or change forum software to something more modern. A vBulletin upgrade runs $175, anyone else in for the kick?

Wow, must say, sure, I haven't been posting or even visiting the Temple for a while, but seeing the Temple is in jeopardy gave me a sinking feeling in my heart. Sure, it's been a while, but it's always good to know it's still there.

I don't even know if anyone remembers or has missed me, but I'd like to rekindle some of the old friendships I gained here..

I agree with some; There hasn't been much in the way of new Mewtwo fuel for the fire, as the powers that be seem to feel that 2 movies are enough for the fans. Have always been hoping for some new stuff, but I guess that's unlikely at this point..

I would love to RP again sometime for old time's sake. This place was important to me back in the day.

Well it seems as if lots of people voted for "important enough to keep posting regularly" but no one has committed to this.

Really at this point I'm not convinced the Temple is really worth it anymore. Does anyone have any particular disagreement?

I guess not. It'll be a damn shame to see it go after so many good years together, but if it's causing you more trouble than it's worth Reirei I guess we can say goodbye to it.

I honestly don't know what to post about right now. Everything I've been involved in in the past month or so Mewtwo-wise is...risque to say the least, and the biggest upcoming thing I can think of is what will be happening at Anthrocon - I was counting on that to be what would bring people around to the fandom.

The way things have had an emptiness, I feel as though I'm walking the streets at 3:33AM... This fandom has to survive, you know. After all, it put something mean and green on the scene; of which I'm quite proud of. So that upgrade... are we on a deadline? I'm willing to chip in.

Key point, start using the dang forum if you want to keep it around. There's been only 3 threads receive any activity in the past few months
