Possible RP's

Right Im going to post a few ideas here, these are only basic, they can easily be changed which is why I want you lot to give your own ideas. This way I hope to create a rp that everyone can enjoy and not leave dead in space. Another point even though there may seem to be only a few right now, I hope to increase these ideas from you lot.

First off.
A possible rp in the far future (I do 40k so sue me), where mewtwos are hunted across the galaxy simple because they arn't human.

Secondly.
A medieval setting, where humans don't exist, magic is in limted use but mainly its close combat weapons i.e swords and axes.

Thirdly.
Perhaps one set in present day but humans never evolved, instead the dominant species that came into being were mewtwos and the like.
This one I thought I could create a new character that the story revolved around, that everyone could perhaps use slightly to help shape the story.

I know those descriptions are somewhat vague but its all i could come up with over the night.

i like three. id probablly do it but i couldn't be that much of a major player since im usually on on only twice a day to three times at most but three definately sounds the best.

i found examples with absolutley nothing human bores people quickly as theres no emotional link, and im into 40k too (and Aliens lol) no real influence on either scale as ill probibly just watch and wonder

Ok so far thanks to raz and cool for their comments, Im thinking a merger of options 1 and 3?
Which now opens up another bunch of questions, will people do a sci-fi style rp? Also I hope to make this a impressive one with a good amount of plot behind it, which is why Im hoping someone will volunteer to talk with me over msn to help create chars that will move the story along, aswell as the possible species, corporations and finally to help give me an ending that we can aim for.

w00t for 40K universe, sci-fi & no humans (Mewtwos in SPAAAAACE!), sounds fine. You thinking a dark universe (40k style)?

Right ok then, so Im going to use a universe similar to the 40k one, very dark and very dangerous but I also intend to use fragments from starwars i.e Hyperdrive because warp travel I really can't be bothered using. Humans will be making an appearence in the form of the Imperium except I intend to shrink it slightly to maybe them controlling about a quarter of the known galaxy. Their fleets and troopers will remain the same save for the faster then light tech, and if people really really want we can have a few space marines thrown into the mix.
I've also been going over the char that I want to base the story round, now heres the low down on her. Her name will be Liandra, and she is a albino mewtwo, about 20ish. Now the simple story for her is that she was created by an ancient race as a key to a vast Extra galactic network, this is where I've stolen a few things from halo and homeworld, these gateways are referred to as Megaliths, and they allow travel to other galaxies.
Now one of these galaxies I hope to place the final part of the story, which I have yet to come up with.
Over the next few days I'll start writing the beginning of the rp in word just to help me get it in motion more but if your curious about how Im going to start it please just get in touch through msn.

ok 40k is a nono a very basic mechanic is phsychers are bloody risky in 40k, they go trhough the warp which really really likes eating your soul and exploding telepaths are not uncommon so throw a mewtwo in there and you got yourself a time bomb

I like the idea of something medieval, but the only problem with that is I don't have any Mewtwo related characters I can use in that time period. I do, however, have other characters from my own fantasy world that use swords and axes, but I wouldn't feel very comfortable merging my fantasy world with that of the Mewtwo world.

Which is why Im not using the warp GG, Im using only the Imperium, and I don't intend to use an identical one to that of the 40k universe. So to clarify there is no Chaos only the Imperium of man.

Well all this rp will be somewhat delayed abit more as I've just gotten a job so if you'll just bare with me for a while the rp will come into existance just not as soon as I had hoped. ^^'

Im sorry but Im not quite following you there Shadow, course ships will have that form of FTL but are you talking bout the actual designs from homeworld 1 & 2?

No, just the concept of the HW hyperspace system. Woudn't be too off since the system was backwords-eginiered

Urgh, no. Right to make it really simple this is how hyper space will work in my rp. First you need a hyperspace generator to open a window for your ship to go through. Secondly hyperspace is a corridor to anypoint in the galaxy.
Finally the main point of hyperspace, the more power you put into the generator the faster your ship will go, dead simple see?

I have a sci-fi type fantasy world of my own, but I'm leery of sharing it with just anybody. I'm sorry to sound paranoid. That's how uncomfortable I feel about sharing it with certain people I don't know. Some of you may know the name of my fantasy world, while some of you don't.

Well, I started an RPG on Mewtwo's Hideout called "A Stranger Among Friends", but I'm afraid that if I told you what I did, you'd probably think I was some kind of freak. At least that's what I think, although I could be wrong.

It all makes sense to me. I mention hyperwarp in my fantasy world, and in case you're wondering what it is, it's a fantasy world I've had since I was 10-the world of Yuripia. As much as I fear mentioning it to just anybody, it bothers me when I try to keep it secret, since anytime I keep something bottled up inside me, it just eats me up.

Btw, does anybody visit Mewtwo's Hideout? I still have my RPG up in there, but I haven't had any replies. I'm feeling depressed, because this is the first time I've attempted to start an RPG on the web, and my post is just sitting there.

Anyway, I just thought I'd add that the name Yuripia has NOTHING whatsoever to do with hentai or anything like that. I wanted to come up with a name that I thought would sound unique, and I gave it its present-day spelling. So any references to Yuri is purely coincidental. Yuripia has a mixture of all three time periods: Prehistoric, Medieval, and Futuristic.
