~Chapter 5 Where did Kiera go?~
A hand was over my mouth as I was being taken away by a figure. We passed many walls, plants, and trees as he led me to a familiar area. My room. He let go of my mouth and set me down on my soft bed. I took a deep breath, but let it out as a shudder. I looked over at my "kidnapper" and saw that he was also a Mewtwo, but he seemed different somehow...
"Hey, there! Sorry about just grabbing you and running there," he said apoligetically.
"Who are you?" I asked almost involuntarily.
"I am Kaezon," he replied, "and what's yours?"
Before I could say anything, the door opened and a familiar figure strolled into the room.
"Oh! There you are! I've been lookin' all over for ya!...And I see you've met Kaezon!" she says with a smile. It was Zephyr.
Kaezon looks over at me and then he turns back to Zeph. "Did I miss something?" he asked.
"Oh, I guess you weren't there! This is Shiro. Kiera and Jax found him all messy by the High Tower...and may I ask why he's here?" she asked.
"He's hanging out until someone can give him a proper walkthrough of the Temple," he replied.
I still didn't know why he took me away from Mewtwo's Sanctum...but I guessed that he had a good reason so I stayed silent.
"Hmm...Okay then! Shiro," she said, picking me up, "I bet Kiera's up to the task!" She waved to Kaezon and darted out the door. I particularly noticed that I wasn't being dragged around again. We made our way to the High Tower again and saw many more Mewtwo's than before. I saw that there were a lot more than I thought there were. There were about ninety or more just talking with each other. Zephyr turned her head to the left, then to the right, looking for Kiera. I couldn't get good look at her myself so I was of no help.
"Bleh, I don't think she's here anymore. Maybe I'll check in the basement," she said rushing inside the nearest entrance. She walked through the halls turning in directions so quickly that I almost fell out of her hands. We passed hall after hall until finally, she headed for a dark and spooky-looking doorway.
"I wonder if he'll know where she is," she said aloud. She began to head down the hard steps into a strange room. It looked very shiny, but was dark because of the lack of light. I was amazed at all the strange shapes and sounds that could be heard. Zeph must've noticed me and began to speak.
"This is the bottom floor where all our technology is stored," she began, "it's where must of our defenses are, if you know what they are. It means that this is where we control things outside of the Temple to protect us against....well...everyone else."
I took in this information, but I couldn't understand much. We had reached the bottom of the stairway to find it pitch black. Zeph began to feel around for something on the wall and found it. She flicked it on and lights turned on everywhere within the room. It was an extremely large room where there was giant machinery, test tubes, control units and such. I stared at one of the test tubes as Zephyr moved on. I felt sad as we inched farther and farther away. But why?
"I wonder if he's....oh hi M-3!" she said, waving. I looked forward and saw someone. It was a Mewtwo, but something was different....much different. He had a green tail and was very white. He had large wings that were also green and pointy. From my point of view, he looked E-V-I-L.
"Oh...uh...hello," he greeted casually. He didn't seem like a bad person, but I decided to wait before judging anything.
"Hey, I need help finding Kiera...can you search her up on your tracking system?" she said. I did not understand a single word that came out of her mouth except "Kiera" and "hey".
"What makes you think I have a tracking system, let alone one that can find Kiera? I'm only engaged in benevolent purposes...didn't believe that? Oh well. I'll see what I can do," he replied.
"Aah...You're hopeless Mr. Evil-Three," she said shaking her head, "didn't you remember that tracking device that Mewtwo had asked Dr. Tenecha to create?"
"Yes, I do," he retorted, "but I didn't know that you knew?
"Oh okay...wait, how did I know?" she asked herself. She looked like she was bewildered by something. M3 shook his head and walked over to a medium-sized screen. He pressed a button on the side and it turned on. A voice began to speak from out of nowhere.
"Name of Subject," it said in a strange voice.
"Kiera Namir," he replied.
"Subject Code," it asked once more.
"62786," said M3.
The computer began to make noisy sounds and bright squares began to move into their places on the screen, like a puzzle.
"Subject: Kiera Namir, located," it answered. A small, flashing square was shown on what looked like a large blueprint of the Temple. It was to the far eastern area, near a large messy-looking circle. It was a lake.
"Okay! Let's go Shiro! Thanks again, Mr. Evil!" shouted Zeph has she started up the stairs again. Her shout echoed through the underground lab as they left.
A few minutes of running through halls and blurry images of objects and Mewtwo's passing by...
"Well...we're at the pond. Where could that Kiera be?" asked Zeph, looking around.
"Heey!!! Let me go!!!" shouted a female voice. Zeph and I turned our heads to the source of the sound to Kiera, who was being taken away by...a human.
