I have noticed that a few people at the temple collect games workshop models, so they should know what this is. It is a 3d model of a battle fleet gothic imperial cruiser that I started the other week when I was invited back to my old university to sit in on a few lessons on 3ds Max.

Thanks, it is similar to the ship in the movie but I just copied the detail from one of my Luna class cruiser models.

Nice very nice, seems similar to a guys art on another site I sometimes visit, but yours seems far superior to his. Well done again anyway.

Thanks ShadowedFigure. I may create some examples in the tutorial section. So if you want a particular subject covered on polygonal modelling just ask and I will see if I can help.

Thanks Orgun.

Thanks, all I can remember from that movie was a scene where the cruiser was firing on a planet from orbit.

I have just been admiring your deviant account godgolden, beautiful glass work. What kind of temperatures do you have to get the glass too to shape it?

Thanks, I may map it if I get time, but unfortunately mapping is my lest favourite part of the modelling process.
