It's come time to reform the RP rules once again. This time I'm going to take it a little slower. You can take reference of the definition types here (http://tom.mewtworevolutions.com/thread.php?threadid=112).

To start off. You must format the game according to rating and gameplay type. It can only be one type. It also must be to the most extreme. A role play based on the Telly-Tubbies with only one sex scene in it is going to be rated NC-17 regardless of how preechy it is. However, in game type, the game's type is based on primary GM interaction. A traditional style RP with a couple of scenes that are free roaming(such as in towns) is going to be a traditional style because the majority of the action happens outside of the towns with heavily GM interaction at that point.

Next, relavency and authority. The GM of a game acts as the moderator of their own thread. They have the right to kick one member out of the RP because they either are godmodding even after warning's or just plain getting off of topic. Getting off of topic cannot happen in a free roaming game but includes completely getting off of topic(Linkin Park doesn't have anything to do with dungeons).

Each kicked user can appeal his/her case to an admin(myself, Reh, or Emsie or even Ant if he is available) and in such time, the case will be reviewed but NOT until appealed.

If said user won't leave the role play upon the asking of the GM, further action will be taken ensuring that user looses their right to role play at all. The saying stays, don't argue with the cop, argue with the judge. The cop is the GM and the judge being an admin.

------------------------------------

Now about posts. Right bellow the message box in the reply window is a "check message length" link. This counts the amount of characters in each post. I expect ALL roleplayers including GMs to use the reply button instead of the quick reply for role playing. Each reply must be of sufficient length to easily explain their actions. Said amount varies from post to post but a word of advice is to be wordy and descriptive.

------------------------------------

Formatting. It's time we set a standard for formatting in role playing.

**-Between two twin-asterisks comes user actions that your character performs
*-Between two single-asterisks comes external actions. Things like *The trees waft slowly in the wind*
^-Between two single-carots comes out of character speech. Keep this to a minimum
()-parenthesees indicate additional information given that is not spoken

Please keep to this standard as much as possible so we can all keep each other straight.

------------------------------------

GMs must plan to an obtuse degree of what their story is going to be about. The rating, type, and name must be in the title of the RP and cannot contain anything else. RPs from the date of February 8th 2006 not having this will be deleted on sight.

GMs must also have a clear story outline. They may be asked by the admin what happens. Freeroaming, this is not necessary. GMs without outlines will be scolded and docked GM Reputation points, which is going to shortly be available.

It seems like I'm being strict, and I am but this is the way it needs to be from here on out.
