Mewtwo's dental structure?

I think that Mewtwo's teeth are like a cross between a feline and a human, with the canines of a cat and the incisors and molars of a human. So he would have 4 pairs if incisors, 2 pairs of canines, 4 pairs of pre-molars and 6 pairs of molars giving him a total of 32 teeth.

I came to this design of teeth because on my Mewtwo model I'm doing facial animation and it just looked wrong using a feline jaw structure, especially when he did an evil smile with his very small incisors. I'll post a picture of his teeth after I do some final dental work, because at the moment he looks like he needs braces.

i wish i knew how to do computer stuff like that. its funny that he has such a big set of teeth yet his mouth always looks small on his face. but when he opens his mouth it looks so big.

Morph modifiers are excellent when you're keeping the animation in Max. Problem is, not many video games can handle that kind of modifier so rigging is necessary.

With incissors like that it's highly unlikely that he can truly survive by vegies only. The human body was never made to digest cellulose(the dominant sugar in plants) making vegitarianism an odd idea(to say the least) amoung humans. With him, its even less likely. Stuff like that is for shredding fresh meat.

Where he gets it? I'm not sure. I can't immagine that its just plants but Nintendo is made up of nothing but hippies so maybe.

It's actually more fun just to change the parameters after downloading the Source engine. That way you don't have to worry about being kicked for cheating on VAC servers for using the CLI

i want to mess around with the source engine but it would take forever on dial i think. wid\sh they would put it as an offline install that i could pick up on my laptop like ctf or natural selection.

Steam acts as a CVS client for the Source Engine, automatically updating the tools and source code to include the latest of everything.

The Source engine code and a barebones mod is 35MB

I thought we covered this? They'd be where most mammal's reproductive organs are. In the case of Mewtwo they'd most likely come out from some slit or sheath near his groin. As for his testicles, they might be internal like ovaries. Other wise similar to a mammal.

If his testicles were kept inside his body that would significantly if not completely prevent him from ever fathering a child seeing as the internal temperature of his body would kill the sperm that were created.

Technically that would depend on body temperature. Humans at 98.6 need to keep sperm at around 94-96 degrees. Who's to say 'twos body temperature isn't lower?

You forget however that animals such as dolphins, orcas, and other marine mammals have internal testes, and still are able to produce mass ammounts of sperm. Dont make me whip out that whale penis picture again XD

If I may be so bold, I can shed my light on the subject of what's been mentioned.

Complicated Read
Endothermism correlates directly with brain evolution. Homo sapiens, bearing the most advanced brain on earth now, have a very precise thermoregulation, including the lack of fur without being marine and sweat glands; only a fraction of mammals share both qualities. Since Mewtwo is the most powerful psychic, and psychic powers demand high performance synapse arrays, his brain therefore his vastly more powerful than human's. He's larger than the typical human, yes, but his head is still close to the same proportion. If the brain were to work 10x as much, but still occupies 1x the space, well, it can only mean the brain is 10x as efficient. The first means of increasing cerebral efficiency is intensification of increased surface area. This the folds of the brain you see in pictures, but in Mewtwo's case, his brain texture would more resemble a car radiator than a coiled anchor chain. Increasing the amount of work in such a space demands increase in thermoregulation, which when in place will have expelled much the intense body heat. So, naturally he should have a body temperature lower than a human's when his thermoregulation is uninhibited. A bushy coat of fur would insulate rather than cool. His shape permits alot of exposure to the air. The neck pipe is allows higher surface area of spinal cord and the vessels with it.

Translation
Mewtwo is so smart it makes so much heat that his body has to burn it off in every way. Cozy kitty-fur would be too hot and dangerous for him. His big tail and lower body shave off the body heat. It's a bad idea to totally cover that second neck.

What matters
Unless Mewtwo's sperm are rugged tanks like he is, his body temperature has to be so much lower than a human's that they won't die off if indeed his testicles are inside him. You have to ask whether it matters he reproduces. If he's really the ultimate weapon, he either is so omnipotent he needs not sire, or he's to bring about an apocalypse by siring an army of himself.

What I think on what matters
Pokemon is a kid's show for one, genitals are not ever nor ever will be expressed. The japanese don't like showing the entire penis. Like every pokemon, Mewtwo is intentionally neutered. In the mature world, he'd more than likely have a sheath, which can be as long as you like. He may or may not have The Sack. The Sack can be a scary thing, can you handle it?

I'll give this a try... because of what Onimyutsuu had written down, I've been thinking about Mewtwo's DNA. Mewtwo's genetic structures were manipulated many times for years in order to ensure survival & raw power magnified ten fold. But here's the thing: Technology is never perfect, it only seems that way. Who knows what sort of hidden defects that might arose? Perhaps Mewtwo will have a shorter life span, failing internal organs, & other possibilities.


But hey: nobody said that our minds should be bound by limits. I'm just here saying something off my head. Sorry if I have offened anyone here.

By the way: that Sack comment from Onimyutsuu: it depends from someone else's perspective. Me? Meh.

well theres other things that i guess you could do if you found a mewtwo. it would be retarded looking but you could wear a wetsuit. those things are great at keeping heat in. its what they are designed to do, keep at much heat in and use it as a thermal oven to heat the water that makes it in.

Well, I've thought about the brain more. There's only so much pure calculatory capactiy until it's unnecessary.

Mulitasking would be another high-end cerebral function that isn't restricted. Basically, Mewtwo being able to lift and move one object telekinetically isn't anything to write home about. Mewtwo being able to telekinetically lift and move dozens of objects as precisely is a whole other ballpark.

Analytical ability is an exremetly demanding function as well. The best capacity I can imagine for that would be the capacity to perfectly photographically memorize EVERYTHING observed, to the point that the mind reproduces every minute detail, sound, temperature, scent. This also includes analyzing anything observed down to raw physics, composition, mathematical equations, and so on. For Mewtwo, this is deadly; he'd be able to precisely construct a vector field at the precise physics, without overengineering and wasting energy. He could not only stop bullets, he could reflect them back to the origin like a ninja or jedi.

It's hard to imagine a super-efficient thermoregulation. I suggest Mewtwo would use his telekinesis to supplement that. He would have a physic field over his skin that rapidly sucks the heat off. It wouldn't be something he'd have to focus, it could be an autonomous lower brain function like heart rate. Hence from the get-go his telekinesis performs thermoregulation.

You really can go on with what it is in Mewtwo's range. It's like packing a Cray supercomputer into your head, and the thermonuclear powerplant supporting it as the body. I prefer to think he just never goes all the way to exploit it, probably his denial over being the ultimate weapon.

I guess what Giovanni and the scientists grossly miscalculated was what TYPE of pokemon they cloned. Remember that nobody encountered Mew, so data is unavailable to inform anyone that Mew is a Psychic type. Being psychokinetic = superhuman intelligence. Intelligence = self-awareness, ethical reasoning, abstract concepts. Superhuman intelligence = BIG self-awareness, ethical reasoning, abstract concepts. Sure, they got their ultimate weapon. Unfortunately for them, this weapon is Descartes, Socrates, Jung, Aristotle, Machiavelli, Locke, Kant, and Sartre all in one genius mind. It isn't even a question of spiritually, the science alone just made everyone's day.

I dont know about you but really, it's not like Mewtwo's a subject matter we can study. There are many possibilies to be thought of really. None can be accurate for sure unless the higher powers at hand make the say so. In words of Oni-san, pokemon is a kids show yes. However us here have ; can I say this safely? Taken Mewtwo-sama out of the existance of pokemon and put him into our own.

I dont know if this is true for everyone else but I view my passion of Mewtwo as him being a separate entity from the whole pokemon fandom. Also though, in words of Oni-san, yes pokemoon is a child's show, and saddly is has never matured. I'm seen manga of pokemon that were more mature saddly. Anyhow with Pokemon many are foolish to the technicalities. They contradict themselves. They say there is not gender when clearly there MUST be. sure they take that away for american children so that the parents dont freak out. However I find parents already freaking about trivial things. Pokemon, please pardon my saying, will allways be immature. It's in the hands of those in the fandom, in this case Mewtwo's fandom to make it mature. in that, we do what we like with designated characters. This discussion on mewtwo's genitals is about as wide as the discussion about should a furry have a human penis or an animal penis. The blunt answer is what ever suits the individual.

Back to Mewtwo-sama, in general the individual chooses his or her preference ^^

I've been doing some reading into Psychokintetics and the like. Read "Mind Games" by Michael Powell. It's a short book that really sheds alot of light on brain power. OOBE's, spoon bending, and thinking yourself well are all mapped out and explained in this book. Plus it has other cool things like how to fool a lie detector(easy) and how to do multiplication like 73x72 in your head within like 5 seconds. You can step up from there to some others. The Lucidity Institute is a good start.

Okay, so I'm gonna be necromancing here, and I apologize for that. But anyway, I always wondered on the structure of the hands. Do they have two opposable thumbs and one finger? Or one thumb and two fingers? Or just three fingers? And what's with those balls on the tips? Also, how are Mewtwo's hands connected to his psychic ability? You'd think that he could remain completely motionless if he's just using his brain, why emphasize with hand motions?

To store energy in like a small buffert maybe while channeling attacks, and
releasing them. Like a transformator for appliances so that he does not spend to much
energy at once, or overcharge. Also good when holding stuff I guess so you don't drop it.

I've always thought Mewtwo would have retractible claws much like a cat. Also if you study the feet of a cat the paw pads are indeed bulbous compared to the rest of the paw. As Mewtwo was cloned with (I believe) several different creatures, this may be his feline side showing through. As to the purpose of these bulbous ends to the fingers I doubt they have any except to house possible menacing claws! (Any feline like creature that big has to have some serious daggers hidden in those paws)!

He's a clone so he hasn't evolved naturally he's been created. As a feline he'd need those paw pads for protection on hard surfaces, but as a bipedal mammal he does not. The scientists may have merely overlooked this fact as they were concentrating purely on his power and his survival. Some byproduct of his genes would not interest them, which is what I think these bulbous ends are.

If you have read the novel Jurassic Park it goes into a lot of depth over how the scientists have overlooked problems and features in the cloned dinosaurs. They just wanted to prove they could do it and do it quickly for a profit. Only later in the novel does the chief geneticist, Henry Wu, suggest to Hammond that they should improve the next 'batch' of dinosurs and take more time over them.

I personally think this was Mewtwos' scientists view. Giovanni wanted Mewtwo to survive and be powerful, he wanted him created quickly so he could use him as soon as possible. Dr. Fuji had said himself they'd had failed experiments, so any that survived were fine and dandy whether they looked perfect or not. I believe had Mewtwo not gone all bad ass and killed them they would have taken Wu's viewpoint and tried to improve on their creation, tweaking Mewtwos look and character and so on.

Oh shush, you. One other thing that bothers me is deviations in mewtwo leg designs. Some are almost human, some are like haunches; some have him walking on the whole foot, with the toe-nub on the ground, some have him walking on the balls of his feet. Some show almost no room where the shin-bone would be... I forget how it was in the anime, but what's your view on it?

Well, as I recall, in Mewtwo Returns (the only instance of him doing so!) he walks, and only his toes touch the ground. It's like he's on permanent high-heels or somethin.

I would think either he has plenty of muscle or really strong bones. Because I can't think it would be comfortable to stand like that for ANY length of time, at all. But then again, I'm not Mewtwo.

If the legs are designed to walk that way then it shouldn't be uncomfortable for him. Don't forget that quite a few mammals technically walk on what would be classed as their 'toes' and have no problems.

I'd say he's got strong leg muscles (from the size of 'em), and ligaments and tendons that are longer than ours so as they're not stretched too much by his walking on his toes.
