Chapter Two: New Home, New Hope
When we arrived at the Temple, I instantly felt at home. Mews and mewtwos romping around in the yards, more sitting and talking at the tables by the gateway, even more were in the house, and there were some funky noises coming from one of the bedrooms. I walked around and saw a mewtwo wearing an armband with a star on it.
Sir, what does that armband mean, I asked.
Oh you must be the new one that Haku kept talking about while you were in the forest. My name is Mewrei. This armband means that Im one of the Temple security force. The three of us keep the rest of you safe from outsiders that happen to find the Temple. We also settle fights that the locals get in if they get out of hand. Im sure that youll see the rest of us in due time.
Im also the head scientist here. If you will come with me, Ill run some tests to see if you are okay physically and mentally. They wont be painful or anything, just a bit time consuming.
I went with him inside. His laboratory was huge. The centerpiece was a Cray XD-1 supercomputer.
Oh my god! That computer, its a Cray. Where did you get that? It cost like one hundred thousand dollars, I said.
Not for me. I built that thing, and dont call it a Cray. That is an insult to its abilities. I just put it in a Cray case because I like the look of them. Now the first test, hop on that treadmill and see how fast you can go, said Mewrei.
Okay. I said and hopped on the treadmill. I got the thing up to fifty-two kilometers an hour before I peaked. How was that Mewrei?
Well this might surprise you but that was a bit slow. Youre ranked at twenty eighth out of the population. About half way from the top, said Mewrei.
Youre kidding. Who is the quickest, I asked.
Well, to be frank its a twenty-seven way tie. Out of the entire temple you are second from the bottom land-speed wise. The only one slower then you is Haku and that is only because, as a mew/mewtwo hybrid, he has the mew characteristic of never walking. The only time he is on the ground is when hes in bed with his wife. So he doesnt count. Truths be told, youre the slowest one here, said Mewrei.
Well, that sucks. Hope my flying ability is better then the others, I said, not happy with my crappy abilities.
Well lets find out. Fly down to the end of the lab. When you pass that line the timer will start. At the end there is a button. Hit it and the timer will stop. Go whenever you are ready, Mewrei said, pointing down the corridor Im supposed to fly down.
I took off and got to that button in a blink of an eye. Id never flown that fast before. It looked dangerous to Mewrei but I knew I couldnt be hurt. Flying seems to be the one time that Im in total control.
My god, Razorirr you just flew at three hundred and seventy-two kilometers an hour. That is more than 6 kilometers a minute! You definitely topped the airspeed record that Evenly Dark Slayer set when she and Ai came here. She can get to one hundred sixty three. You must have a huge body density to even be able to support the pressure of the air coming in contact with you at those speeds, said Mewrei. He went and picked a device that looked like a bar with a telescreen in the middle. Go and step on that scale and hold this in both hands. I want to see if Im right.
So I stepped on the scale and once again I shocked Mewrei. The scale had to be broken because I weighed in at 372.72R kilograms. There was no way that I weighed in at that much. My slender body shape turned it into an impossibility. I thought. The other device had a big zero on the screen.
Wow. I didnt think that I weighed that much. What does the R mean Mewrei, I asked, astonished that I weighed in that high.
The R means repeating. It tells me that your exact weight is three hundred and seventy-two point seven two seven two, and so on. The other device measures body fat. And it says you are 0 percent fat. So for being the heaviest one here, you are also the thinnest. Good job. You must have bones of titanium or something, he said.
Time to test your mental attacks. Go into that chamber over there and be ready for anything. Ive loaded up a new training regiment that one of our two gym leaders wrote.
It was Eve, wasnt it. I said with a smile as I hopped into the training chamber. Mewrei just nodded his head and closed the door.

DRAGON FLAME, I yelled. This time I sprayed the whole area in flame but I still didnt hit Eve. Then it clicked, Mewrei wants to see every thing that happened in that battle, even if I tell myself not to Im going to use fissure. Maybe this time I wont pass out.
Then the smack on the head came. In retaliation I used,

I took off again but something held me in place in the chamber and the wall background changed to seem like I was flying along. I went as fast as I could, but the computer still hit me even though the real Eve couldnt have. I went falling to the ground and waited to show off what I could do.
The computer Eve was right above me and I let loose.
FISSURE, I roared. I really out did myself this time. The last memory that I had was of the roof of the chamber blowing up and away. Then the sweet, sweet, darkness fell upon me.
I woke up on a lab table in the middle of a laboratory. It couldnt have been Mewreis lab though. The smell was wrong. This lab smelled like medicine and cleaning solvents. There was something else wrong too. The clock on the wall was saying it was 12:34 P.M. 12/23/2005. When I went into Mewreis chamber, it was 12:33 P.M..
There is no way. It couldnt only had been a minute that I was in there, did three attacks, and got moved here. Wait. I was in Mewreis lab 12/19/2005. Ive been unconscious for four days!
A door behind me opened and a being that looked a bit like me except more horsey looking then dragon stood over me. The most catching things about her were the star on her forehead and her silver eyes. And she was wearing a silver cloak that looked like it might be silk or satin.
My name is Alamthea Mewthree Lin. You can just call me Alamthea though. Im glad that you woke up. We thought that you werent going to make it there for a while. You were unconscious for the better part of a week. Ive just got some blood work to run then you are free to go. Just try not to use Fissure. I walked out of the medical wing all together. Glad to be out of there. Problem is, I knew I would be ending up there a lot. Not because I would get sick or anything but because I would be getting in a lot of battles.
I rounded the corner to the bedchambers and a door opened. Haku and another mew walked out. I could tell that this mew was female. She also had angel wings like Haku did. The difference was that she didnt stand at almost five feet tall. She was maybe pushing two feet five.
Hi, Raz! Let me introduce you to this lovely lady. This is Midnight, my mate. Midnight, this is Razorirr, my best friend, Haku said.
Oh, so Haku has a lady. I always thought that you swung the other way. You know straight as my tail, I said as I curled my tail into a circle.
Oh, youre so mean Razorirr, Midnight said jokingly as she punched me in the shoulder.
No, Im not kidding. I seriously thought that he was gay Midnight. By the way you can call me Raz if you want, I said.

Oh yes dear. This man is the best secret keeper. If there is something that you want to get off your chest and you want pretty much no one to know, tell him. He has never given up any secrets that Ive told him. I honestly dont think that he can do it, explained Haku to his wife.

The two walked off hand in hand. I could almost feel the love coming off the two. I walked into my room and just dropped on my bed. I couldnt help it any more and just started crying to myself.
This is the best thing that has happened to me yet Im depressed. I miss Tiffy so bad and its only been two weeks. I wish that she could be here with me, but alas, it will never happen that she will get so upset for this to happen to her. Im just going to have to let her go and find another. Eve is beautiful but she is already taken. I guess that me having a mate is just not meant to be. Ill just have to be strong and live alone.
At least Im making great friends though. I already have three and Ive only met five people here. Still friendship doesnt have that same emotional value as being mated to someone does. These feelings are so strong. On the hole we are a lot more emotional then humans are. Haku seemed happy when he was at his house with me but he is ecstatic with Middy around him. If he had lost her, he would probably just give up living. Its beautiful really. To be that committed to someone.
Everyone is really big on touch here. All the nuzzling and rubbing going on. Even between people that are just mere friends. Im going to have to learn to like that. When I was human I hated people touching me. I still do, just not as bad. Its strange though, the touch thing is a perfect example. I can feel my human mind slipping. My characteristics are still here but other things are leaving. I dont mind being touched as much. At one point Im going to start enjoying it I bet. I might even start forgetting about Tiffy. No, I wont let myself forget her. Ever.
I wonder if there could ever be a way to get her to come here. I think she would like it. Heck, she would love it here. She loves all the physicality of a relationship. It was the one thing that we didnt agree on when we were together. She always wanted to cuddle and I would shy away. Even just holding her hand bothered me. It was almost as if we had the same genetic code except that she was female. We shared a bond almost as strongly as she did with her twin sister.
Wait, thats it. Maybe, just maybe. If her genetic code was as close to mine as it seems like it was. If she got depressed enough about me disappearing, she might just change. Ill need to figure out how Haku knew I had changed. And Ill need to be ready just incase she does show up. If she does arrive though I think I will try to win her over as myself as I am now. If I do win her over, Ill tell her who I really am. But if I dont, well Ill never reveal whom I used to be unless she still misses Bill. Thats the only way that he will find out whom I used to be. Im not going to play off bad feelings that she put behind her. I mean Im cruel but Im not heartless.
~That is the most touching thing that Ive ever heard. To love someone that much when you werent a mewtwo. I had a girl once. Our relationship wasnt that strong but it was up there. Id do anything for Violet to come here. But until then Im staying single. Not that I wont have the occasional fling. But Im not going to get a mate, ~ thought Mewrei to me.

Her colorings were different also. The majority of her body was grey and her belly and tail consisted of a fiery red color.
She saw me and just started to giggle. I smiled at her and she just kept giggling as she moved over by me. She started to rub against me and I actually enjoyed it. I returned the rub and turned it into a hug. She started rubbing my back and I started to rub my hands along her second neck. That did it, she started purring. It was the most beautiful noise that I had ever heard. I had to stop it though. I was being unfaithful to my Tiffy.

Ill be waiting, and if you want to protect things from Haku just surround them in water. Water is deadly to him, I said, not expecting a response.

Then again that is the rule for a species with a population of six billion people and the brothers and sisters usually share a pretty close gene pattern. With us Im not so sure.
Well, father, are Alamthea and Eve my sisters then. They look more like us then they do Haku or Mewrei, I asked, inquisitive all of the sudden.
Ah, I see you have met them already. Yes they are your sisters. You have probably noticed a bond between you and them. From what Ive heard about you, you definitely like Eve.

No. I had a feeling that Mewrei was going to let me ask questions after my checkup but I never finished that. Would you explain it? If you can that is, I asked, wondering about my heritage.
Okay, this is going to be long so Im only going to explain it once though so pay attention. There are three different forefathers, some older then others. Each one of these is the head of that root family.
The first one is Mew. Mew just happened. His first time on the earth was at the dawn of time. For eons he was alone. The thing is, is that he shares the genetic code of every animal on the surface of the earth. It made him extremely fertile with every animal on the planet. He once fell in love with a human. He turned into a human just so he could be with her. Her family didnt accept Mew even though he was a human. They ran off together and started their own family. After having a few kids they came back to her family and they took Mew and his family back in.
Then it happened. They had another kid except this one didnt happen right. Actually from certain points of view it happened perfectly. It depends on who you are I guess. Back to the point, this kid was different. He looked like a mix between a human and a Mew. As you can probably guess, this being was Mewtwo. Her family kicked all of them out and they were banished from the village. They wandered the desert until they came upon an oasis. At this oasis there was a cave. They went into the cave and to their surprise there was a female mewtwo in there. She was just a little baby then, abandoned and left to die by her family. Mew and his wife raised her as if she was their own. The kids grew up together and eventually fell in love. It wasnt surprising since they were the only two of their kind. They started their own family and found out that they bred in litters. They built this place by hand. And for some unknown reason they were imbued with powers to control the elements.
They lived there for hundreds of years. The mewtwos I mean. Mew and his wife both died. Then all of the sudden they all disappeared. They were gone for almost two thousand years. The world turned dark and there were wars. Through and through the temple stayed true and eventually the mews and twos returned to the temple. It was reincarnation at its best. Same mind just a different, brand new body. That was thirty years ago.
I came into the picture about ten years back. Like you I am a human that turned. Something is different with us though, that makes us turn into who we are instead of turning into a two. Were more powerful then the others in some skill or the other. Alamthea is the worlds best doctor. Eve is the top assassin, never seen and never expected. I am the top mechanic as you will see at some point. You are the best at flight and mind games.
Now you are probably wondering how we as humans could turn into a mew, two, or three. Way back when Mew was in his first body, his first five kids were all human. Their kids had human DNA infused with mew DNA. It was this that allowed for the suggestible DNA to be possible. Anyone who turns or could turn is a descendant of one of these five kids. Do you understand all of this?
Yes very much so. One thing though that I dont understand. The reincarnation thing. Is that for just Mew and Mewtwo or for all of us, I asked, wondering if my religion of choice was the wrong one to pick. Buddhism was looking really good right now.
Very good question. Well for the mews and the twos the answer is yes. For us I dont know. None of the four of us have ever died. But if I was going to base it off probability, I would say yes. We do reincarnate. Or at least I hope we do, Mewthree said.
It would be great. Unless something hideously wrong happened and we wouldnt ever forget it. Then again we have friends to help us through that, I said, somewhat morbidly. Well it was nice meeting you. Im going to go for a walk and think this all over.

I made good on my promise and went for my walk. The whole time I had thoughts running through my head about my new life as a three. I all of the sudden had skills that I had no idea how to put to use. I needed to find something to do with myself. I didnt much care what it was as long as it was constructive.
All of the sudden I felt something. The only way to explain it was a tingly feeling in my gut. All of us must have felt it because the others in the courtyard all had stopped what they were doing and just stood still. I ran over to a strange looking two and asked what just happened.
Um, Zephyr, what just happened, I asked.
How do you know my name . . . oh wait, Im in my chef uniform. Stupid name tag. That feeling that you just felt was someone in the world changing. We need to find whoever it was that just changed, fast. If you want to come to Mewreis lab with me. Ill get you put on the search team, said Zephyr.
We both teleported to Mewreis lab. The majority of the Temple was there sitting around a table with a hologram of the Earth in the center. The hologram was having layers filled in, in red, by increments of five degrees latitude. Right now it was in Brazil.
For those of you that havent been in here before for this. Namely you Razorirr. The red parts of the globe are where my sensors didnt detect any of our species signatures. There was a bar that went green. The rest of the globe was eliminated. Leaving a plate that represented five degrees of latitude. Then starting at the prime meridian and working its way toward Russia were the red bars again. Each eliminating five degrees of longitude this time.
Well, it does that. When it finds the longitude, it will become more specific. Picking out a region, then a state/providence, then finally a city. Now we just need to wait and let it do its thing.
The plate was eliminated piece by piece. Russia, gone. Alaska, gone. The great plains gone. My home state of Michigan, gone. It settled on a part of the east coast area and its surrounding states. One by one those states winked out until only West Virginia was left. Then it knocked off cities until only Harrisonburg was left. We seemed to have our results.
I looked over at Mewrei and he looked like he was in shock. I wondered what was wrong and he answered.
That is my hometown. Ive seen this twenty different times but Ive never had my hometown come up before. I wonder if I know the person. Back on subject here people. The town is Harrisonburg, West Viriginia. Find the new one and when you do let the others know. You all have telepathy, use it. Take it easy on the person. He or she will be afraid just like you all were. Tell them about here and the training that you are going to put them through. Make them fell wanted. Now go.
Ten of us transformed back into our human forms and then teleported out of the room. Most of us were just doing it for the person who is going through this but a few of us werent. You could see it in their eyes. I was one of those few. I didnt know why the other ones were doing it for but I was doing it for Mewrei. He almost seemed like he knew who the person that we were looking for was and that the person meant a lot to him. I wanted to be the one to tell him that he was right.

A door behind me opened and a being that looked a bit like me except more horsey looking then dragon stood over me. The most catching things about her were the star on her forehead and her silver eyes. And she was wearing a silver cloak that looked like it might be silk or satin.

I walked out of the medical wing all together. Glad to be out of there. Problem is, I knew I would be ending up there a lot. Not because I would get sick or anything but because I would be getting in a lot of battles.
I rounded the corner to the bedchambers and a door opened. Haku and another mew walked out. I could tell that this mew was female. She also had angel wings like Haku did. The difference was that she didnt stand at almost five feet tall. She was maybe pushing two feet five.
Hi, Raz! Let me introduce you to this lovely lady. This is Midnight, my mate. Midnight, this is Razorirr, my best friend, Haku said.
Oh, so Haku has a lady. I always thought that you swung the other way. You know straight as my tail, I said as I curled my tail into a circle.

Oh yes dear. This man is the best secret keeper. If there is something that you want to get off your chest and you want pretty much no one to know, tell him. He has never given up any secrets that Ive told him. I honestly dont think that he can do it, explained Haku to his wife.

The two walked off hand in hand. I could almost feel the love coming off the two. I walked into my room and just dropped on my bed. I couldnt help it any more and just started crying to myself.
This is the best thing that has happened to me yet Im depressed. I miss Tiffy so bad and its only been two weeks. I wish that she could be here with me, but alas, it will never happen that she will get so upset for this to happen to her. Im just going to have to let her go and find another. Eve is beautiful but she is already taken. I guess that me having a mate is just not meant to be. Ill just have to be strong and live alone.
At least Im making great friends though. I already have three and Ive only met five people here. Still friendship doesnt have that same emotional value as being mated to someone does. These feelings are so strong. On the hole we are a lot more emotional then humans are. Haku seemed happy when he was at his house with me but he is ecstatic with Middy around him. If he had lost her, he would probably just give up living. Its beautiful really. To be that committed to someone.
Everyone is really big on touch here. All the nuzzling and rubbing going on. Even between people that are just mere friends. Im going to have to learn to like that. When I was human I hated people touching me. I still do, just not as bad. Its strange though, the touch thing is a perfect example. I can feel my human mind slipping. My characteristics are still here but other things are leaving. I dont mind being touched as much. At one point Im going to start enjoying it I bet. I might even start forgetting about Tiffy. No, I wont let myself forget her. Ever.
I wonder if there could ever be a way to get her to come here. I think she would like it. Heck, she would love it here. She loves all the physicality of a relationship. It was the one thing that we didnt agree on when we were together. She always wanted to cuddle and I would shy away. Even just holding her hand bothered me. It was almost as if we had the same genetic code except that she was female. We shared a bond almost as strongly as she did with her twin sister.
Wait, thats it. Maybe, just maybe. If her genetic code was as close to mine as it seems like it was. If she got depressed enough about me disappearing, she might just change. Ill need to figure out how Haku knew I had changed. And Ill need to be ready just incase she does show up. If she does arrive though I think I will try to win her over as myself as I am now. If I do win her over, Ill tell her who I really am. But if I dont, well Ill never reveal whom I used to be unless she still misses Bill. Thats the only way that he will find out whom I used to be. Im not going to play off bad feelings that she put behind her. I mean Im cruel but Im not heartless.

The thing with our kind is that we take relationships to the next level. When two of us become mates its almost as if we become two extensions of one soul. The problem is that this can carry over from our human relationships. It has only happened with me so far, but from what I caught of your thoughts it might happen to you. All of the sudden the other corner of the bed had another mewtwo on it. This one looked different then the others that I had seen. I could tell she was a she because of the more rounded breastplate. Her colorings were different also. The majority of her body was grey and her belly and tail consisted of a fiery red color.
She saw me and just started to giggle. I smiled at her and she just kept giggling as she moved over by me. She started to rub against me and I actually enjoyed it. I returned the rub and turned it into a hug. She started rubbing my back and I started to rub my hands along her second neck. That did it, she started purring. It was the most beautiful noise that I had ever heard. I had to stop it though. I was being unfaithful to my Tiffy.

She handed me a silver ball with a couple of buttons and holes lined up like it could be a speaker or a microphone.
What is it, I asked. I pressed a button and a voice came out.

My name is Razorirr. Kyra gave me the transceiver. She said that I should meet you. Something about how we are both mewthrees. Ive met the other two threes here. I would love to meet you too, I said into the microphone.
Give me a minute. Ill be right there. Just need to fire up the dimensional gate and arm the Anti-Hakaryu devices, said the voice over the radio.
Ill be waiting, and if you want to protect things from Haku just surround them in water. Water is deadly to him, I said, not expecting a response.
I waited for a bit for whoever Kyra wanted me to meet. Then I started getting bored and so I started rubbing on Kyra. She took right to it and we picked up where we left off. We started kissing and I wrapped my tail around hers. I wish I could have kept going but, alas.
There was a disturbance in the air and the person that I was talking to appeared. He looked a lot like me. Just some color differences and his tail was shaped differently. Other than that he was for all intents and purposes, me. Or maybe it was the other way around and I was a copy of him.
Oh, yeah youre definitely a three, said the three after giving me a quick glance. Welcome to the family. Its not that big since there are only four of us. Since Im the closest thing you have to a father you should know my name. I am Mewthree, the Mewthree. Just like Mew and Mewtwo were the original Mew and Mewtwo. They are the originals.
The funny thing is, even though I never had really met this three in my life it felt like he really was my father. It really rules me and Eve hooking up if any thing were to happen to her mate. Brothers usually dont hook up with their sisters. Then again that is the rule for a species with a population of six billion people and the brothers and sisters usually share a pretty close gene pattern. With us Im not so sure.
Well, father, are Alamthea and Eve my sisters then. They look more like us then they do Haku or Mewrei, I asked, inquisitive all of the sudden.
Ah, I see you have met them already. Yes they are your sisters. You have probably noticed a bond between you and them. From what Ive heard about you, you definitely like Eve.

No. I had a feeling that Mewrei was going to let me ask questions after my checkup but I never finished that. Would you explain it? If you can that is, I asked, wondering about my heritage.
Okay, this is going to be long so Im only going to explain it once though so pay attention. There are three different forefathers, some older then others. Each one of these is the head of that root family.
The first one is Mew. Mew just happened. His first time on the earth was at the dawn of time. For eons he was alone. The thing is, is that he shares the genetic code of every animal on the surface of the earth. It made him extremely fertile with every animal on the planet. He once fell in love with a human. He turned into a human just so he could be with her. Her family didnt accept Mew even though he was a human. They ran off together and started their own family. After having a few kids they came back to her family and they took Mew and his family back in.
Then it happened. They had another kid except this one didnt happen right. Actually from certain points of view it happened perfectly. It depends on who you are I guess. Back to the point, this kid was different. He looked like a mix between a human and a Mew. As you can probably guess, this being was Mewtwo. Her family kicked all of them out and they were banished from the village. They wandered the desert until they came upon an oasis. At this oasis there was a cave. They went into the cave and to their surprise there was a female mewtwo in there. She was just a little baby then, abandoned and left to die by her family. Mew and his wife raised her as if she was their own. The kids grew up together and eventually fell in love. It wasnt surprising since they were the only two of their kind. They started their own family and found out that they bred in litters. They built this place by hand. And for some unknown reason they were imbued with powers to control the elements.
They lived there for hundreds of years. The mewtwos I mean. Mew and his wife both died. Then all of the sudden they all disappeared. They were gone for almost two thousand years. The world turned dark and there were wars. Through and through the temple stayed true and eventually the mews and twos returned to the temple. It was reincarnation at its best. Same mind just a different, brand new body. That was thirty years ago.
I came into the picture about ten years back. Like you I am a human that turned. Something is different with us though, that makes us turn into who we are instead of turning into a two. Were more powerful then the others in some skill or the other. Alamthea is the worlds best doctor. Eve is the top assassin, never seen and never expected. I am the top mechanic as you will see at some point. You are the best at flight and mind games.
Now you are probably wondering how we as humans could turn into a mew, two, or three. Way back when Mew was in his first body, his first five kids were all human. Their kids had human DNA infused with mew DNA. It was this that allowed for the suggestible DNA to be possible. Anyone who turns or could turn is a descendant of one of these five kids. Do you understand all of this?
Yes very much so. One thing though that I dont understand. The reincarnation thing. Is that for just Mew and Mewtwo or for all of us, I asked, wondering if my religion of choice was the wrong one to pick. Buddhism was looking really good right now.
Very good question. Well for the mews and the twos the answer is yes. For us I dont know. None of the four of us have ever died. But if I was going to base it off probability, I would say yes. We do reincarnate. Or at least I hope we do, Mewthree said.
It would be great. Unless something hideously wrong happened and we wouldnt ever forget it. Then again we have friends to help us through that, I said, somewhat morbidly. Well it was nice meeting you. Im going to go for a walk and think this all over.

I made good on my promise and went for my walk. The whole time I had thoughts running through my head about my new life as a three. I all of the sudden had skills that I had no idea how to put to use. I needed to find something to do with myself. I didnt much care what it was as long as it was constructive.
All of the sudden I felt something. The only way to explain it was a tingly feeling in my gut. All of us must have felt it because the others in the courtyard all had stopped what they were doing and just stood still. I ran over to a strange looking two and asked what just happened.

How do you know my name . . . oh wait, Im in my chef uniform. Stupid name tag. That feeling that you just felt was someone in the world changing. We need to find whoever it was that just changed, fast. If you want to come to Mewreis lab with me. Ill get you put on the search team, said Zephyr.
We both teleported to Mewreis lab. The majority of the Temple was there sitting around a table with a hologram of the Earth in the center. The hologram was having layers filled in, in red, by increments of five degrees latitude. Right now it was in Brazil.
For those of you that havent been in here before for this. Namely you Razorirr. The red parts of the globe are where my sensors didnt detect any of our species signatures. There was a bar that went green. The rest of the globe was eliminated. Leaving a plate that represented five degrees of latitude. Then starting at the prime meridian and working its way toward Russia were the red bars again. Each eliminating five degrees of longitude this time.
Well, it does that. When it finds the longitude, it will become more specific. Picking out a region, then a state/providence, then finally a city. Now we just need to wait and let it do its thing.
The plate was eliminated piece by piece. Russia, gone. Alaska, gone. The great plains gone. My home state of Michigan, gone. It settled on a part of the east coast area and its surrounding states. One by one those states winked out until only West Virginia was left. Then it knocked off cities until only Harrisonburg was left. We seemed to have our results.
I looked over at Mewrei and he looked like he was in shock. I wondered what was wrong and he answered.
That is my hometown. Ive seen this twenty different times but Ive never had my hometown come up before. I wonder if I know the person. Back on subject here people. The town is Harrisonburg, West Viriginia. Find the new one and when you do let the others know. You all have telepathy, use it. Take it easy on the person. He or she will be afraid just like you all were. Tell them about here and the training that you are going to put them through. Make them fell wanted. Now go.
Ten of us transformed back into our human forms and then teleported out of the room. Most of us were just doing it for the person who is going through this but a few of us werent. You could see it in their eyes. I was one of those few. I didnt know why the other ones were doing it for but I was doing it for Mewrei. He almost seemed like he knew who the person that we were looking for was and that the person meant a lot to him. I wanted to be the one to tell him that he was right.
