~Chapter 3 Recovery~
It was morning now...since the little incident. It was now a distant memory, slowly drifting away. I never wanted to remember it anyway. It made me feel uneasy with the outside world. Speaking of outside, I was now inside of the Temple.
I opened my eyes to see that I was lying on something soft and white. I didn't know what it was! A peculiar thing it was. I felt curious and floated up off the thing and poked it. Nothing really happened, so I just left the thing alone. Still, I had no idea where I was, so as curious as I was; I flew out an opening and took a look around. It was a big place, this Temple.
I spotted a large set of doors and noticed that there were people out there what looked like people. I didnt know who they were, so I just hovered over there, forgetting the state I was in and as luck would have it, I flew into a tree branch. It moved forward and flew back into its position, flinging me back. I spun and halted to a stop when I bumped into something.
"Mew?" I said silently and looked up.
"Hey," said the person,"you're not dead!" I turned around and looked at her. She had darkish purple hair, and wore nurse-type clothes. To think of it, she kind of looked like me! Only she was taller and had a lot of different characteristics.
"So you're the one Kiera found. I hope you're okay now," she said to me. She put a finger on her chin and was trying to remember something.
"I think I was supposed to do something if you woke up but I can't put my finger on it. I'll just take you to the Temple Gates. C'mon!" she said, grabbing my paw. She practically dragged me all the way to the front gates of the Temple, and there were the people I saw before.
"Hey, guys! Look who finally woke up!" she shouted happily.
She caught their attention and stopped a few feet from them. There was a girl there I think I remembered seeing yesterday. I think she was the one they called "Kiera". She took one look at me and walked over to me and sat in front of me.
"Hey! You're finally awake!" she said, smiling,"you were out cold!" I tilted my head slightly and twitched my ears.
"My name is Kiera Namir and I think you've met Zephyr Analea. But we just call her Zeph," she said. Then she stood up and walked over to the others.
"Come on guys, introduce yourselves!" she ordered. The first one who spoke up had dark blue hair, was wearing a black jacket, with blue jeans, and knuckle gloves.
"Hey kid, I'm Jaxtsuu. But just call me Jax, got it?" he said to me with a grin. "Just hope you won't need anymore saving."
I nodded and relaxed a bit. He's the one who attacked that Mightyena when they had cornered me. I had a question I wanted to ask,but it I didn't think it was my place to say. Besides, I think it might've offended them. But still, that curiosity of mine was eager to know. Luckily, before I could say anything, someone had taken my hand. She was just like the others, but she was wearing priestess clothes with a headband. She looked eager to take me somewhere.
"Hey, little guy, sorry for the interruption, but I have to take him to Mewtwo. You guys'll have to wait a while before he comes back. See ya!" she said, waving to them. Then, just as Zeph had, she dragged me to wherever this Mewtwo was.
"We're almost there," she said, looking at me. I looked up at her and she smiled. She was nice and I just had to ask her my question.
"Ummm...can I ask you something?" I said.
"Well, sure. What is it? Oh and by th way, I'm Emsie," she responded.
"Umm...what are you exactly?" I asked. She didn't appear to be angry or anything. I really should stop thinking people will be angry if I ask them something.
"Well, it's really easy judging by the way we look. We're called Mewtwos. Not many people know who we are, so it's okay for you not to know," she replied.
I nodded, but didn't smile. I was still unsure of this place and until I knew where I was, then I'd be alright.
"Hey, ems," said a voice,"who's the kid?" Ems turn to her left and smiled.
"Hey, Cool!" she said happily. He came over to her and I hid behind her.
"This is the one Mewtwo would like to see."
"Oh," he said casually. "So you're the little intruder. Don't worry, kid. He won't hurt ya," he said, lowering himself enough to take a look at me.
He stood straight up again. Then he whispered something in Ems ear that made her giggle. I tilted my head to one side and wondered what it was about.
"C'mon, we should get going. See ya, Cool," Ems said, continuing on. Cool waved good-bye and headed over to the gates. I turned to look back at him, but he had already disappeared.
"Ah, here we are!", said Ems. I looked foreward and saw a tower, somewhere in the back of the entire Temple. It seemed pretty quiet back here, but I sensed a prescense. It felt powerful and I thought it would overwhelm me.
Then a deep voice said,"So, you're finally here...Experiment #44985....Shiro."
