I really need a server farm

I use 5 PC's, one master four slaves, each PC has a P4 3.2GHz and 2gig of high speed RAM, the longest time it has taken to render a scene was 2 hours 48 min. That's probably what you didn't want to hear.
What dose your scene contain?

You'll see.
I'm going to be getting a cluster of PS3's for my rendering farm. As I said in another post, its a great method for interchange. The FlexIO board can exchange data of something like 75GB/s and the Rambus XDR memory is something like 15 GB/s
My current PC is a 2.4GHz P4(troubles already) with 533MHz bus speed, 333MHz 768Megs of DDR Ram. What I would give for HyperTransport right about now.

Are they clustered/networked together for distributed computing? If so, what software/hardware are you using?

I use distributed rendering on a network using a plugin for Max called final render stage 1, where instead of using multiple CPUs to render each frame individually which Max and backburner can do, final render stage 1 splits each frame up into sections called buckets and each bucket is assigned to a different CPUs.
