I've been busting my ass for the past hour trying to get the chatroom online. Guess what? Its at least online. I'm upgrading to v2.0.0 right now and we'll see how well that works.

Edit Just got the chat room working. Join Temple of Mewtwo(obvious isn't it?) once you login. Sorry its a separate login process. I'll try to integrate the two someday but its currently interfacing with the main sites CMS instead of this board.

I got myself out of it. I could be a friggen hostage negotiator. That and my house is run like a legal system(my dad being a lawyer). If I don't like judgement, I can appeal it up to 5 times.

The chat room doesn't seem to be all that stable. One minute I bust out the duct tape... the next, the chat room dies. Then i get some yummy errors:

It does that occasionally. Just a basic I/O error. Reload it and it should be fine

I get that same thing too. refreshing doesn't work, and neither does re-entering. It works fine after about an hour or so, though...

Oh i dun have a link o.O it was a link someone gave me to the private IRC channel we were in i was using mIRC and then we were talking about alternative chat clients and he said his websites chat is CGI IRC and sent me a temp example of it and i tried it out

we have an irc channel here.

and if we dont irc is really great cause you can host downloads on it too. problem is you need an irc server i believe.

You can get the exact channel off of the chat system at http://tom.mewtworevolutions.com/chat.php but no one is ever in that channel.

It looks like you guys/gals are having some serious issues with the chat feature in ToM. I liked the chat feature in the old ToM (which I've shortened to OToM on my AOL taskbar. This one, I've called NToM.). I hope we can get the chat feature going in NToM, so we don't have to go to OToM.

I'm unfortunately aware of the issue with the new chat systems. Its probably my host but I'm working on a new system. It will be quite a bit more powerful than anything previously used on this site.

It integrates with the new forum system I'm working on.

The M2R toolbar has a bunch of Temple links embedded right into it plus anti-spyware/anti-ads software built in.
