(I'm not sure if this would be random but I tryed) The question says it all....allmost. Just tell us how it is that you -yes you- get rid of your stress and in need to calm down. It can be one thing or a list. these are mine, this is what I do if I feel stress out. I don't do all of them, but some of them:
Reading, paceing back and forth, punching a punching bag, talking out loud about my problem (when no one is around that is), playing video games, listion to music and bakeing something sweet.

Yet another thread I could easily doom to the Bedchambers...fapfapfapfapfapfapfapfap
But seriously, typically browsing the Temple, dA, FA, and the like for new Mewtwo stuff will get me calmed down, as well as chatting with some of ya on AIM.

When I'm stressed I usually:
Have a hot bath, lay down and take a nap, curse everyone and everything in my mind and imagine evil twisted ways to torture those who've pissed me off, eat something sweet, listen to loud music, talk to my cat about my problems, read, pace around my room thinking, write some of my fanfic, rant to my mum or brother 'cause they listen usually.

Quoted and bolded for truth. I've done that many, many times. More than is healthy.

If I'm stressed, I'm usually angry along with it, so I just go and work out at the rec center for a few hours. Helps me stay in shape and I can use a punching bag if necessary! :P
Another thing I do is just round up some friends and go play some full-contact basketball. Really works the stress outta you and being around friends doesn't hurt.

I write, listen to music, watch the first movie (which I've seen hundreds of times) and have chats with my friends and the ever-present voice. Sometimes the voice drags me shopping, too, when she decides I've had enough. But mostly I write or talk to Abby and Kaya. And the voice. Because she doesn't like being left out.

Drawing is where I usually dwell, I'd channel and express my emotions through my work. Makes for good horror pictures. Specially when I feel like choking someone to death. :P
Games too since my mind easily sinks into a good mind-interactive vid game, using alot of coordination thinking etc.
Meditation, to still the mind and chaotic thoughts.
Chamomile tea which is a great body/brain soother, very opposite of stimulant.
Less caffiene and sugar intakes. That can help with your brain activity.
I've learned that depending on the health state of your brain will influence many of your daily situations in mental activity, emotional, ability to complete things, stress levels, negative mood/thought cycles, uncontrolled outbursts etc. Pay attention to what you do to yourself including diet intake on daily basis because this influences many of our stressful days and we wonder why sometimes.
