Daika

[Basic free-roaming type RP, rating varies. Plot? Doesn't have much to it except Daika finds a virtual reality gaming device while cleaning out the attic and has no idea how it works. Insanity insues.]
It was just one of those lazy days with absolutely nothing to do. Otherwise, Daika wouldn't be found shuffling about old boxes in a feeble attempt to clean the supposed 'attic' of the Temple. A thin layer of dust rested on her fur as she nudged stuff around, trying to get some work with a broom going. Maybe if she found some items that could be even a little valuable, they could have a garage sale or something... no, no... that was just the dust getting to her.
"Ow! Damn box!" She scowled viciously at the object she stubbed a toe on and lifted to broom defensively, ready to swing low, then remembered that it was an inanimate object and wouldn't do much good. Releasing a heavy sigh, she began to work again, humming to herself. A catchy tune was forming in her mind as her body swayed just slightly to it, head bobbing side to side.
Instead of breaking out into song, like would most likely happen in a random animated movie, she swung the broom around, making it a guitar. A funny sight Daika made, marching through the attic with the broom positioned in her paws like an instrument, and humming weird bum-bum-bumming noises along with it. 'Course, all strange but actually happy moments must come to an end, which it did as Daika let out a surprised yelp and fell back over a tower of boxes.
Every odd and end imaginable was now in a heap on top of her. The broom had broken her fall for the most part, but snapped in half in doing so. Daika stayed sprawled there for a minute, as if dazed, until an unbalanced box pummeled her from above. She sunk into the mess of antique items with a miserable look, before yelping once more as the last box squished her paw and tumbled over.
"Great... just great," she grumbled, pushing junk off of her as she struggled back up to her footpaws. She looked at the chaos she had made in one mere misplaced step and resisted the urge to just chuck the job. Until a blinking red light caught her attention, that was. Fuzzy ears pricked, she approached the source, finding a plain looking, black box thing. Some sort of technology, she supposed, with a few buttons. She saw no apparent indentifying marks at first glance and gave the thing a shake, but hearing nothing.
Frowning, she decided it wasn't worth the time, and deposited it in the nearest box. Little did she know that the device had begun to radiate an eerie glow and the red blinking light had turned green. Before she knew what had happened, a strange swirling vortex opened under her feet and she vanished into it...
... landing in a thick, patch of greenish blue grass, along with half a dozen boxes that had been closest to her at the time.
"What the..." she murmured, perplexed as she viewed the foreign, but intriguing land she was now in, instead of the dusty attic. Not knowing that she had been teleported to a Virtual Reality Game world or that the vortex was still open in the Temple, and able to suck up anything that came close enough... she couldn't help but wonder what mess she had gotten herself into this time.
[ :P Anyone's welcomed to join so long as they remain serious enough to keep this RP going in a semi-sane sense. Have fun!]
