The Script to Mewtwo Returns

Author’s Note: This for anyone who is unsure what is said in "Mewtwo Returns”.
I am a die hard, female fan of Mewtwo! I love, Mewtwo! I LOVE FANFICTIONS AND POEMS ABOUT MEWTWO! I’ve read most the Mewtwo fanfictions and poems off of www.fanfiction.net and they have been some of the best stories and pomes about him out there! I hope to write some interesting Mewtwo stories in the future. I had to change some of the dialog though. I don’t like the fact that some people refer to Mewtwo as "it", when it's quite clear that "it" is a "male." For those of you who have seen or have "Mewtwo Strikes Back" and/or "Mewtwo Returns" and have seen it as many times as I have, you'll note that one who doses Mewtwo's voice is Philip Bartlett in the first movie and Dan Green is the one who dose the voice of Mewtwo in “Mewtwo Returns”. He is also the voice of Yugi Moto and Yami in “YU-GI-OH” and Rokshuo or Roks in “Medabots” therefore, he is male and for those of you who haven't seen, "Mewtwo Strikes Back” and “Mewtwo Returns” this is a spoiler. I also have the original Japanese version of “Myuutsu No Gyakushuu” on DVD and “Myuutsu! Ware Wa Kokoni Ari” on VHS. His voice for both of them is done by Masachika Ichimura and they refer to Mewtwo as being “he” or “him”. I like both them for different reasons. I like “Mewtwo Returns” because it has more dialog then “Myuutsu! Ware Wa Kokoni Ari” But on the other hand, “Myuutsu! Ware Wa Kokoni Ari” dialog is more meaning full. For those of you who haven’t seen either one, I suggest you go and see them before you read this script. If you do read this, you won't understand and/or know what's going on. I wish they would sell both “Mewtwo Strikes Back” and “Mewtwo Returns” together; like a box set. Oh, well we can always have what we want. I’m just glad I have both “Mewtwo Strikes Back” and “Mewtwo Returns”; both on DVD and VHS. ^____^ So on with the story:

The movie starts with Mewtwo talking about his life, how he has changed since “Mewtwo Strikes Back” and how that change came about. I guess you could call it, ‘his life story or his past experiences’. We then see some scenes from the first movie; only from Mewtwo’s point of view that is.

Mewtwo: I am Mewtwo. I am unlike other Pokemon, this is my story. A team of scientists working to create, the world's most powerful Pokemon, discovered a fossilized remnant of a Mew and from it created… me.

He says narrating his story to the audiences.

One of the scientists: RADIO, GIOVANNI'S HELICOPTER. TELL HIM WHAT'S
HAPPENED!
One of the scientists yells.

Doctor: Quiet! Let us hear his psychic powers.

The doctor says to him which quiets everyone in the lab.

Mewtwo: Soon the Team Rocket leader, who had ordered my creation, trained me to control my abilities. But he viewed me solely as his personal property.

He says to the audiences with bitterness.

Giovanni: You were created by humans to obey humans.

He said looking down at Mewtwo from a cat-walk.

Mewtwo: I was not born a Pokemon, I was created. And my creators have used and betrayed me. So, I stand alone!

He says as he blasts off.

Mewtwo: After destroying his laboratory, I created my own. I lured Pokemon trainers to my island fortress to create a powerful new breed of Pokemon and wreak vengeance on humans. I seized their Pokemon and cloned them as I had been cloned from Mew. But soon, I encountered my nemesis.

He continues to narrate.

Mew: Mew, mew, mew, mew, mew, mew!

She said to Mewtwo.

(Author’s Note) It also seems to me that Mew seems to be more of a female then a male.

Mewtwo: A great battle ensued. A battle to determine who would rule: The Pokemon born into this world or the cloned Pokemon created in mine. The clashes were brutal. And as Mew and I summoned all our strength for a finally confrontation, the young trainer cried out for the fighting to cease.

He says going on talking about his past.

Ash: OH, STOP!

He yelled as he ran out in between Mew’s and Mewtwo’s attacks.

Mewtwo: His selfless actions puzzled me. He was a human who valued all Pokemon, whether born or created. Our battle ceased. Finally my eyes had been opened, as had my heart. The Pokemon clones and I left to find place where we could live in peace and I used my psychic powers to wipe out the memory of the struggle. Now, I am forgotten by all but the one who created me; the one whose desire to control me still burns.

He says. That one person being; Giovanni, the Leader of the Viridian City Gym and as well as the Leader of Team Rocket, so he begins by searching out for any clues of Mewtwo using satellites. We then see a dark room with a chair and with Giovanni sitting in it, with his Persian at his side sitting on floor, who is grooming himself and on the other side is; a female Elite Team Rocket Agent standing on the other side of him. Her face is also draped in darkness; so we can’t see what she looks like. As well as there being a TV screen on the wall in front of them.

Elite Team Rocket Agent: These are live satellite pictures of a remote area of the Johto region. Extreme weather makes it uninhabitable for people. But keep watching.

She said as a picture comes into view, blur at first, but as it gets closer, it starts to take shape.

Giovanni: Huh?

He asks, and then spots Mewtwo on an isolated island in the middle of a lake.

Giovanni: I've found you.

Giovanni thought to himself as he glares at the screen with Mewtwo's face on it. We then see Mewtwo standing on a cliff of the island, talking to himself.

Mewtwo: This place is beautiful. By what right have I to judge? What do I know this and its beauty? I am not like other creatures. I am not of this world.

He says to himself and then he starts talking to all the other clones, as well as looking out to the land.

Mewtwo: We are clones, copies, products of science, we are outcasts. So we must live as outcasts, if we are to live at all. We shall stay here, far from the world, far from man. It is our only hope. For if we don't live in secret we shall never live in peace.

Mewtwo says to his clones. Then title screen appears, “MEWTWO RETURNS” At this point, the Narrator starts talking.

Narrator: Today, Ash and his friends begin an unforgettable adventure, as they approach an intriguing landmark in the, far reaches of the Johto region.

He says as we then see Ash and company walking thought a forest. Misty is holding
Togepi in her arms and Pikachu is riding on Ash’s shoulder like he always dose. The sun is shinning and birds are singing. Then all of a sudden then start running to the edge of a cliff.

Misty: That must be....

Ash: Must be!

Pikachu: Pika.

They say as stare at a breath taking, huge, canyon.

Brock: That's its all right: Purity Canyon, the Johto region's greatest natural wonder.

He says to his friends.

Ash: Yeah, no wonder.

He says staring in awe.

Misty: Wonder how we get across it?

She asks as she looks at it. Brock then pulls out a book of the places in the Johto region.

Brock: The book says it almost impossible on foot. The only way to get across is by bus, but it only makes the trip once a month.

He says reading what it says in the book.

Misty: When does it leave?

She asks Brock.

Brock: Lunch time today. Too bad we won't be able to make it.

He says closing the book and putting it back in his backpack.

Ash: Why not? We still have time to make it.

He says looking at Brock thrown back by his words. Brock then pulls out a frying pan from his backpack.

Brock: I know. But I've been planning on trying a new recipe and make spicy pizza pancakes for lunch.

He says to both Misty and Ash.

Ash: Really?

He asks, as his mouth waters at the very thought of them.

Pikachu: Pika!

He says when he hears the word, “food”.

Misty: Look! That must be the bus now.

Says Misty as she points to down to the road just blow them.

Brock: I guess so.

Brock says as we see the bus speeding on the road blow them.

Ash: Waah! Come on! Maybe we can catch it.

He says in a panic. So they make a mad dash to catch the bus. However, it starts to rain. So they try to get to it ASAP.

Ash: OH, NO, IT'S RAINING!

Ash yells as he runs for the bus. This gives Brock idea.

Brock: I know I'll use my trusty frying pan…a drying pan.

He says as he runs holding his frying pan over his head. Meanwhile, Jessie, James and Meowth the notorious trio of Team Rocket happen to spy on them. Jessie uses a pair of binoculars watches them make a mad dash down to the road

Jessie: Ha, Ha, Ha! Look at those twerps running around in the rain.

She says she holds the binoculars in her hands. Who with James and Meowth are under a large, sun umbrella?

(Author’s note) How stupid are they to use a sun umbrella as shelter during a storm?

James: Imagine coming to Purity Canyon and not having the foresight to bring shelter from the inevitable storms. It’s a good thing I packed this umbrella.

He says as he takes a bit out of a shichkabob. Meowth then looks at a Team Rocket version of the same book that Brock has with him.
Meowth: Yeah, but what are we goin’ do when the’d bad weather hits?

He asked them. Both Jessie and James stop what their doing to listen to him.

Jessie: This is bad weather. What are you talking about?

She says to Meowth.

Meowth: I’m talkin’ about typhoons.

He says to both of them.

Both: Typhoons?

They ask while staring at him with worried looks on their faces.

Meowth: According the guide book, the unpredictable geographical formation and
atmospheric conditions of Purity Canyon, can create server and unpredictable weather. Because blizzards, thunder storms and typhoons are predicted, we advise tourists to avoid this area.

He says lifting head up from looking at the book. This seems to make Jessie mad for some reason.

Jessie: Well, I don’t believe a word of it! Those guide books sensationalize
everything!

She snaps at him. Just then a sound can be heard, which sounds a lot like rumbling.

James: Eep. What that sound?

He asks both of them cowardly. Just then a huge, gust of wind comes their way. Which catches them off guard, as they all clung to the umbrella pole for dear life.

Jessie: How many times must our plans be destroyed…

She shouts and asks the other two.

James: Before they’re allowed to be tried?!

He says finishing Jessie’s sentence for her.

Meowth: The’d answer to that’d, my friends is blowin’ in the’d wind!

Meowth says, still holding on to the umbrella, until the wind blows him, Jessie and James
away, while still holding on to the umbrella.

Team Rocket: We’re blasting off again!

As they go flying into the air. Meanwhile, the bus came to a stop; the driver is talking to a woman in mild-pink a rain coat.

Woman: It dose look like there’s anymore passengers for this month’s trip.

She says as she looks around to see if anymore people are getting on it.

Woman: I know it’s a bit early to leave, but the bus is full and the weather is getting bad.

She says to the bus driver.

Bus Driver: It sure is, we better get going.

She says as starts the bus up.

Bus Driver: Bye.

She says as she closes the bus’s door, then the bus takes off.

Ash: HEY, WAIT FOR US!

Ash yells as he and his friends run to catch up with it. That’s when it happens, Brock slides and trips while they are coming down a hill, landing them in back of the woman and giving her a startle. She turns around to see Ash and company on the ground, in one huge, muddy, pile.

Woman: Are you ok?

She asks Ash and company.

Ash: Yeah. Do you know if the bus to Purity Canyon stops here?

Ash says to the woman as he gets up off the ground.

Woman: Yes it dose, but I'm afraid you just missed it.

She says to them. As usual, Brock is attracted to her and tries to flirt with her.

Brock: Forget the bus, if you’d like to stay there’s plenty room under my frying pan if we get real close.

He says which only puzzles the woman.

Woman: Huh?

The woman asks Brock.

Misty: I can smell what you’re cooking.

Misty says as she pulls him out of the picture.

Brock: Not the ear!

He shouts as she pulls him away with her hand on his ear.

Ash: There's gotta to be a way to catch up with that bus.

Ash says with determination.

Woman: Not when the weather gets this bad. The wind and rain are treacherous here, and the roads can become incredibly dangerous. It’s hard enough to make it by bus; on foot you don’t have a chance. Why don’t we all get out of this rain?

She says as she turns to a cabin nearby to take shelter from the rain. Meanwhile, the bus is driving along a narrow road when all of a sudden; it gets caught under an extremely high wind and flies off the trail! But someone seems to be watching them on a glowing, green, TV. Then a paw/hand raises, powers up, and then starts to glow blue. Whoever it is stops the bus from flying off the trail and sets it onto the ground.

Woman: This is like some kind of miracle.

She says in awe.

Man: I can’t believe it.

He says in awe.

Bus Driver: How could this happen?

The bus driver asks while looking around the inside of the bus. We then see who stops the bus, it turns out to be none other then Mewtwo, sitting in a stone chair, inside a carved out room, in a cave.

(Author's note) He looks so different sitting then he dose standing, which he did all the time in the first movie. Expect when he was watching Ash and company on his many monteniers in his control room at Pokemon Palace on New Island. Only thing is you can't see him, all you can see is his paw/hand going up and down, as well as swirling around. For the rest of the time in the movie he is standing up. Well at lest this time we can see what he looks like when he is sitting down. ^________^

With him is two of his clones; Pikachutwo and Meowthtwo, who are sitting on the floor of the cave and are watching them on some kind of glowing, green, TV in the rocky mountain of the island in the middle of Purity Canyon. Pikachutwo turns away from the TV and looks up at Mewtwo.

Pikachutwo: Pika, pika, Pikachu?

He asks Mewtwo.

Mewtwo: You ask, “Why did I save those humans?”

He asks Pikachutwo.

Pikachutwo: Pika.

He says while nodding his head.

Mewtwo: For our own protection. An accident would bring human rescuers. We might be discovered and our peace disrupted.

He says to Pikachutwo. This seems to get the attention Meowthtwo, who also joins in on the conversion.

Meowthtwo: Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow.

Meowthtwo says to Mewtwo.

Mewtwo: You believe there is another reason? That I felt concern or that I cared about the safety of those humans?

He asks Meowthtwo.

Meowthtwo: Meow, meow.

He says to Mewtwo. At this point Mewtwo turns bitter, at what Meowthtwo had just said to him.

Mewtwo: I assure you that was not the case. I could never feel compassion for humans.

He says bitterly as he sits back and closes his eyes. It seems that Jessie, James and Meowth have caught themselves on a cliff, with only the remains of the umbrella to keep
them from falling and they all groan at this.

Jessie: Good thing we had the umbrella.

She says her teammates.

James: If it wasn’t for the umbrella--

He starts to say.

Meowth: We’d be out on a limb.

Meowth says as he finish James sentence and then they all let out a big sigh. Back in the cabin, where everyone is dry and safe from the storm weather outside, the woman introduces herself as Miss Luna Carson and makes some hot tea for everyone to drink.

Luna: The Company that runs the buses built this cabin 10 years ago. People who miss the bus stay here until the next one comes around in a month.

She says as she brings cups of hot tea to them and sets them down on a table.

Ash: We can’t stay here a whole month. Isn’t there another way to get across the valley?

He says to Luna.

Luna: Well, you could take a boat down Purity River at the base of canyon and get across the valley that way.

She says to Ash. This gets Misty’s attention.

Misty: Oh, I’d love to take a boat ride up river, Luna. My family runs a Water Pokemon
Gym and I just love the water!

She says to the green-haired, woman.

Luna: Well, if you like water you come to the right place.

She says with a smile and a wink. Then they all go to the back of the cabin, where there is balcony that is above a river and to the left of it is a waterfall. The storm has stopped and the sun is shining once more and birds are singing happily. Luna lowers a bucket and fills it up with the water from the mesa and puts it in a cup.

Luna: Have a drink, Brock.

She says handing it over to Brock who takes a long gulp, his knees nearly buckle.
Brock: This water is absolutely delicious! This most devastatingly delicious drink I’ve encountered!

He says as he looks zoned out from the water.

Misty: Hey, I wanna try some too!

Misty says as Brock hands the cup to her and then she tastes of the water too. Which makes her eyes widen and she looks like she’s on cloud nine.

Misty: Ah! It makes me feel refreshingly alive and tingly!

She says. This makes Ash wonder what it is that he’s missing.

Ash: I guess it’s good. But how good can water be?

He says looking bewilder.

Misty: Here, take a taste and find out.

She says as hands Ash the cup. Ash tastes the water and then looks down into the cup of water.

Ash: If you ask me, it kindn’ taste like somein’ been swimming around in it.

He says with no side effects. This upsets Misty and Brock so much, that they both get in Ash’s face and shout at him.

Brock: We should have know better then to ask for your opponent!

He shouts at him.

Misty: You know what your problem is?!

She shouts and asks him.

Both: You have no taste.

They say pointing their fingers at him. At this point Ash becomes angry.

Ash: WELL, MAYBE I DON’T BUT NEITHER DOES THIS WATER!

He yells back at them, and then he turns to Pikachu.

Ash: Pikachu, try some of this.
He then hands the cup to Pikachu.

Pikachu: Pika?

He asks looks down at the cup of water. Then he tries some. Togepi is also curiosure about the water and tries some of it as well.

Pikachu: Pika! Pika!

Togepi: Toge! Toge!

They look like their singing and dancing after they drink it.

Misty: Looks like 4 out of 5 water drinkers prefer Purity water to others.

She says with a big smile on her face.

Ash: Guess so.

He says sweat dropping.

Misty: I can hardly wait to ride on a river that’s this super-pure and clean. Come on, guys! Let’s go!

She says to Brock and Ash. We then see that the three friends and their Pokemon paddled their way through a stunning landscape in a canoe at night. The plants were lush. The water was completely clear all the way to the bottom of the river. Misty and Brock are paddling the canoe, Ash and Pikachu sitting in the front of the canoe; Ash holding a lantern in his hand and Pikachu by his side while Togepi sits and enjoys the ride.

Misty: I’m kind of glad we missed the bus, Brock. The current is doing most of the work and the water’s crystal clear.

She says to Brock.

Brock: It fine with me, but I wouldn’t be so happy about all of this clean water if I were you.

He says to her. This gets Misty’s attention as she suddenly stops paddling.

Brock: I know how much you hate Bug Pokemon and nice clean water is just what Bug Pokemon love.

He says to Misty.

Misty: That’s just fine, because this is one time I’m not going to let Bug Pokemon them
bug me.

She says with a smile.

Brock: What ever you say.

He says to her.

Misty: I say bring on the bugs.

She says still smiling. They paddled past some huge, green, trees with thick vines. Suddenly, Ash sees something red glowing in a tree. This excites Pikachu.

Ash: Hey, look there!

He says excitedly as he raises the lantern to get a better look in the tree. This gets Pikachu’s attention as well.

Pikachu: Pika.

He says as he looks at the tree.

Ash: It’s a Christmas tree.

He says.

Misty: That’s no Christmas tree. I-is it, Brock?

She says to Brock.

Brock: Not quit. That’s a flock of Ledian. Ledian are Bug Pokemon they glow like that on clear starry nights.

He says as the go by the tree.

Misty: Ledain, huh?

She says starting to feel more at ease now.

Misty: You know, guys. I think I’m starting to get like bugs.

Until they pass by some trees full of Kakuna as she starts to get freaked out by them.

Ash: This are cool Kakuna.

He says as he and Brock look at them as they slow down on paddling as Misty gets more and more scared.

Brock: I wouldn’t be surprised to see a brunch of Beedrill too. With this many Kakuna here there’s gotta be some around.

He says as Misty whimpers from all the bugs and talk of bugs and as if on cue a bunch of Beedrill appear. She then starts impulsively rows back upstream; scared of the Bug Pokemon.

Misty: Ah...

Misty says as collapse on the banister of the balcony back at the cabin.

Luna: You should have mentioned that don’t like Bug Pokemon.

She says to Misty.

Misty: Sorry, next time you’ll know.

Says Misty who is still hanging on to it in complete exhaustion from all of the paddling that she did to get away from the Bug Pokemon and back up stream to the cabin.

Ash: Is there another way to cross the valley?

Ash asks Luna. Then Brock speeches up break the silences.

Brock: I know one way.

He says out loud. This gets the attention of the others.

Ash and Misty: Huh?

They both ask Brock with puzzled looks on their faces.

Brock: There!

Brock says as he turns and points to the mountain and then everyone turns to look at it as well.

Brock: We can go straight over the top of Mount. Caina!

He says still pointing to the mountain.

Luna: Oh, I don’t think you want to go that way, Brock.

She says to Brock. This gets Ash’s attention.

Ash: Why is it too hard to get up there?

Ash asks Luna, while she looks up at the mountain.

Luna: Mount. Caina is the highest mountain in the whole Johto region. At the top of the
mountain is Clarity Lake; it’s beautiful but the height of the mountain and atmospherics
conditions even keep visitors away. The only ones that live up there are some wild Pokemon; Pokemon that can throve those conditions.

She says as we see what it looks like up on Mount. Caina. This gets the attention of Ash.

Ash: Well, if there are Pokemon up there, I say we go.

He says with a smile on his face. Then, Pikachu and Togepi see something that excites them.

Pikachu: Pika.

Togepi: Toge, toge!

Then Ash notices something flying over head as well.

Ash: Hey, what’s that?

He asks. Then we see some Butterfree flying toward the mountain.

Ash: It’s a flock of Butterfree.

He says as he and everyone else watch them fly away.

Luna: Some people say the Butterfree go to lay their eggs at Mount Caina.

She says while watching the Butterfree fly in the moonlit night, sky. Mewtwo is also watching on a cliff from his island with Pikachutwo and Meowthtwo. He then starts to talk them while he stares up at the moon and at the Butterfree passing by it.

Mewtwo: For these Pokemon, life is as it should be. They were born into this world, it is their home and they belong here. We were not born as they were, we are not of this world, we don't belong in it.

He says to himself as he looks up at moon.

Mewtwo: But where do we belong?

He asks Pikachutwo and Meowthtwo; looking down at them not really expecting any reply from them.

(Author’s Note) Mewtwo seems to spend more time with them, then any of the clones. I think three of them must be very, good friends.

Then Pikachutwo looks up at Mewtwo and starts talking to him.

Pikachutwo: Pika, pika, pika, Pikachu?

He asks the tall psychic Pokemon.

Mewtwo: Do we truly deserve to live here as much as the other Pokemon do?

Mewtwo asks Pikachutwo seeming puzzled at what he had just said to him.

Pikachutwo: Pika.

He says, while nodding his head. This seems to anger Mewtwo somewhat.

Mewtwo: We are unlike the others.

Then Meowthtwo looks up at Mewtwo and starts talking to him.

Meowthtwo: Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow.

He says looking up at the moon.

Mewtwo: Yes, I am sure the moon is round and bright to those Butterfree. Just as it is to us and any other Pokemon who sees it.

Mewtwo says still anger.

Meowthtwo: Meow, meow, meow, meow?

Asking Mewtwo while looking up at the moon.

Mewtwo: If we see the moon as they do, why can we not see the Earth as they do?

Mewtwo asks Meowthtwo in puzzlement. But this seems to make sense to Mewtwo.

Mewtwo: Yes, why?

Mewtwo asks as he smiles while looking up at the moon. We then go back to the cabin where, Ash and company are watching as the Butterfree disappear into the moonlit, night
head for Mount. Caina.

Brock: I sure would like to know where those Butterfree are heading to.

He says as the Butterfree vanish from sight.

Togeip: Toge toge!

Togeip says. After watching the Butterfree for a while, Ash and company hear a knock at the door.

Girl: Good morning. He he.

Says a young-girl’s voice at the door while giggling this gets Luna attention.

Luna: Hello?

She asks.

Ash: A visitor?

He asks.

Misty: At this hour?

She asks. Luna opens it to find a young-adult man with a young-teenage girl standing next to him.

Teenage Girl: I said "good morning" 'cause even thought it's after midnight, if I said "good night" you might go to bed.

The teenage girl says with a smile on her face and gives a peace sign with her fingers to Luna.

Luna: Huh?

She asks in confusion.

Young-adult Man: We hate to bother you but we doing some exploring and need a place to spend the night. Oh, by the way, my name's Cullen Calix.

The young-adult man says. This surprises Luna as she stares at him.

Luna: I know that name. You’re the frames researcher and Professor of medicine.

She says to the man. The man nodded at this.

Cullen: Yes, and if I'm not mistaken, you’re Luna Carson. I've read dozens of your research papers on Pokemon. It's a real pleasure to finally meet you.

He says, with a smile.

Luna: Please, come in.

She says as they both enter the cabin.

Ash: Research papers?

He asks Luna, as the two people walk into the cabin and then she closes the door and turns around face to Ash and company.

Luna: Working for the bus company is just my part time job. I’m actually here observing native Pokemon and their habits.

She says to Ash and company.

Teenage Girl: Oh, wow, I can't believe I'm finally meeting "the" Luna Carson. I'm like a total off the hook fan of yours! I wanna be exactly like you when I get old!

The girl says very excitedly, much to the surprises of Luna.

Luna: Great. And you are who?

She says a little startled.

Cullen: Oh, this Domino she works for the Pokemon Institute.

He says to Ash and company.

Domino: Hi, everyone!

She says cheerfully to everyone. Again Brock does his usual thing when he sees a pretty girl.

Brock: Oh, Domino. What a beautiful name so black and white, yet so playful. Come, let’s find a quite spot and line up to see if we are a match.

He says looking into Domino’s eyes. This makes Domino a little nervous, again it up to
Misty to bring Brock back to reality.

Misty: You shouldn’t play the game if you can’t win.

She says as she drags him away by the ear once again.

Brock: Ow! Ow! Ow!

He says in pain.

(Author’s note) He just doesn’t know when quite, dose he? *giggles and shakes her head*

Luna: I’m afraid the bus won’t be back for another month.

She says to Cullen and Domino.

Cullen: Oh, I didn’t come to take the bus. I came to study the water.

He says to Luna who looked a little confused at that remark.

Luna: The water?

She asks Cullen.

Cullen: Yes, I’ve been studying the Purity River for sometime and I’ve discovered that its water contains a number of rare minerals that have an amazing effect on the health of both Pokemon and human volunteers.

He says as he reached into pouch and pulls out small tube of water.

Cullen: I’ve come to Mount. Caina to unravel the secret.

He says to Luna. This seems to make Luna sad.

Luna: That’s too bad.

She says sadly to him. Now Cullen is the one, who is confused.

Cullen: Huh?

He asks.

Luna: If the water doses heal people, they’ll come here from all over. They might accidentally destroy the very thing they’re looking for.

She says to Cullen. This seems to make sense to Cullen.

Cullen: I see what you mean.

He says to her. Then Luna becomes happy.

Luna: Then again Mount. Caina is partially impossible to get to.

She says with a smile. Cullen just stares at her. Then firecrackers appear on the floor of the cabin while going off, as Team Rocket makes their big entrance.

Jessie: Hard, but we’re prepared for trouble.

James: We’ll scale that mountain on the double.

Then they start to do some coreragrahphic moves while they say their motto.

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation.

James: To unite all peoples within our nation.

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love.

James: To extend our reach to the stars above.

Jessie: Jessie!

James: James!

Jessie: Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!

James: Surrender now or prepare to fight!

Meowth: Meowth that’ds right!

This angers Ash and company.

All of them: WHAT DO YOU WANT!?

They ask and yell angrily at the troublous trio.

Pikachu: PI, PIKACHU!

Pikachu yells angrily, ready to do battle with them once more. While Domino watches Team Rocket very closely.

Domino: I don’t remember this clowns.
She thought to herself.

Jessie: Today’s the day we finally caught Pikachu!

She shouts happily as she points to Pikachu.

Ash: You never will!

He shouts back to her.

Pikachu: Pika!

Pikachu shouts.

James: Don’t bet on it brat-o, go electricity absorbing wire!

He says as instantly, a coiled-up wire shots out from his hand and grabs Pikachu before Ash can makes an objection to it.

Pikachu: PIKAAAAAAA……………CHUUUUUUUUUUUU!

Says Pikachu as he tries to shock James but his energy is just absorbed into the wire.

Meowth: We knew we’d need wire to absorb Pikachu’s electric attacks, so we planed everything down to the wire.

He says to everyone. Team Rocket laughs at this.

Meowth: Now, its time for our getaway.

He says as he pushes a button on his remote control and their balloon floats up behind them.

Ash: We’ve bust that thing before and we’ll do it again!

Ash shouts. Jessie laughs at this.

Jessie: You may have done it before but not anymore!

She says. We then see that there are rockets on the side of the balloon this time. Jessie laughs again.

Jessie: We’ve always had the team but now we’ve finally got the rocket.

She says. For some reason this makes Domino mad.

Domino: Oh, they’re embarrassing!

She thinks angrily to herself. Then Cullen speeches up to Team Rocket with concern in his voice for what they are about to do.

Cullen: You can't go. The air currents in this valley are treacherous. If you launch that rocket, there's a good chance we'll never see you again.

He says to them. Jessie seems to be flattered by this.

Jessie: Finally, a man with intelligence, intensity, and ruggedly attractive stubble cares about me passionately! What could this strange sensation be? It must be love! But, our love can never be I have already given my heart to Team Rocket, please don’t try to stop me I must leave.

She says lovingly to him. While, Meowth and James are wondering what she is going on about.

Meowth: When comes to romance she’s gotta a pretty vided imagination.

He says as he watches this.

James: And that’s all she’s got.

He says in reply. Jessie hears this and becomes angry.

Jessie: I’M NOT FINSHED YET!

She yells this makes James and Meowth even Pikachu cringe from her.

Jessie: Now we must go our separate ways, but I hope that when you think of me and you most certainly will, try to remember that there is something good in goodbye!

She says as she pushes button and the rockets shot off.

Ash: PIKACHU!

He yells as he watches the trio make their get away in their rocket powered balloon and they all hold tightly to the rim of the basket of the balloon with they eyes closed.

Jessie: Farewell, my love. This unfeeling rocket now carries me away towards the pale and heartless moon.

She says struggling from force of flying upwards so fast.

Meowth: I don’t see no moon.

He says looking up into the sky as he opens his eyes which causes Jessie to do the same.

Jessie: It was there just a moment ago.

She says as she looks up and sees that some clouds have covered up the moon. It then becomes very windy.

Luna: The weather’s changing again. Taking off in a rocket is careless and reckless.

She says to everyone.

Domino: You forgot mention brainless.

Domino adds quietly.

Ash: If they get away I may never see Pikachu again. I have to follow them no matter what.

He says with determination in his voice.

Luna: Well, if that's the case...

She says as goes back inside of the cabin and then comes back out with climbing things and dress like a mountain climber.

Luna: I know Mount. Cania pretty well. I’ll lead you up there. I’m ready when ever you are.

She says to everyone there.

Ash and gang: We’re ready, Luna.

They all say with determination in their voices.

Cullen: And I’m coming too.

He says. We then see them all walking up a path on the mountain as Domino seems to have come along as well.

Domino: Oh. This is so scary.

She says walking behind Cullen a with a scared look on her face.

Cullen: You knew this would be tough. So you should have stayed at the cabin.

He says to her as they keep walking.

Domino: Staying there alone would have been scarier.

She says just a huge boulder rolls towards them. Cullen gets out of the way but Domino’s whole personality changes as she looks fearless and jumps right over it. After the boulder is gone Cullen looks around and sees that Domino is nowhere to be seen. Fearing that she may have fallen off the mountain from the boulder he calls to her.

Cullen: DOMINO!!

He yells out to her thinking she maybe hurt.

Domino: Here I’ am.

She says coming out from behind a rock.

Domino: That big boulder missed me by an inch.

She says with a smile on her face and a little giggle. While Cullen looks amazed that she is ok. Looking outside his caved out window, Mewtwo senses something's not right. Then it goes back to Team Rocket.

James: With all these updrafts, downdrafts, and sideways drafts, we're not getting anywhere.

Jessie: Do you think we're in danger?

Meowth: As long as we got them rockets, I'm sure we'll be okay.

Ironically, the rockets stop functioning, much to Team Rocket's surprise. Luna and everyone else are hanging on to a rope as they climb the mountain.

Luna: It's getting windy!

Team Rocket's balloon fly past them as they yell.

Ash: There goes Team Rocket!

He says as he watches.

Ash: HEY, COME BACK HERE!

He yells to them.

Ash: Huh?

Much to his surprise his wish comes true as the balloon flies towards them.

Luna: Look out, it's headed right this way!

Team Rocket's balloon collides with Luna's rope and apparently attaches to it, bringing the whole group with it.

Meowth: With all of them hanging on, we're never gonna get away.

With a worried and uneasy tone in his voice as Wobbuffet comes out of it’s Pokeball.

Wobbuffet: Wobbuffet!

As this angers Jessie.

Jessie: YOU’RE GONNA DRAG US DOWN, YOU LIGHT WEIGHT! RETURN!

As she yells at her Pokemon as it goes back inside of it’s Pokeball. The balloon rises up in the sky as the winds suddenly stop, overlooking Clarity Lake.

Jessie: The wind just died down.

She says looking up at the sky. The wind seems to die down but, there seems to still be something wrong and Mewtwo senses it as he walks away from the window.

Mewtwo: The storm is over for, now.

He says as he turns his head around. We then go back to the balloon, where Ash and the others are still hanging from the ropes. Domino uses her binoculars to look at the island getting a look at Mewtwo a bio-version look at him; that is.

Domino: I think see just what we’re looking for.

Domino says talking in to walkie-talkie; however the image is sent to Giovanni!

Domino: It's definitely Mewtwo.

She says. Giovanni sees Mewtwo on his screen wall and he glares at the picture.

Giovanni: You got away from me once. That won't happen again, my friend.

He says looking at the picture. Mewtwo then notices Ash and company hanging on to the balloon and remembers them quite well.

Mewtwo: Those children again. Could this be an accident, or is it something more?

Mewtwo says who is now joined by Pikachutwo and Meowthtwo. We then see Giovanni staring at the blank screen, in his chopper and in his hand is a glass full of bourbon.

(Author’s note) For those of you who don’t know, Bourbon is a very exceptive, French straight whisky distilled from a mash having 51 percent or more corn. I’m a little surprised that they kept that part in the movie. O.O

Giovanni: Now, we will find out once and for all whose will is stronger!

He thinks to himself as he crashes the glass in his hand and starts to smile.

(Author’s note) Two words for this guy, ‘Angrier Management’, boy doses he need it or what?

Now confirmed with Mewtwo’s location Giovanni heads to the canyon with a whole army of Rockets. This time he will get Mewtwo; no matter what. We then go back to Domino who is still hanging onto the rope.

Domino: Well, what's this?

She asks as she sees Pikachutwo and Meowthtwo. We see a picture of Pikachutwo and Meowthtwo with what looks like a bio-version of them.

Domino: I've spotted Pokemon with similar bio prints to Mewtwo's.

She says talking into her radio.

Giovanni: That not surprising, it's only fitting that Mewtwo should want to be with his own kind. No matter how unnatural they maybe.

He says to Domino, who is referred to and is answering as “009”.

(Author’s Note) 009?! What is this?! Some sort of “James Bond” movie?!

We then see that the airship is right above the area.

Giovanni: 009, being operations at once.

He says to her.

Domino: Copy, over and out.

She says as she turns off her radio and then races up the rope, hitting mostly everyone along her way up the rope. Before anyone can figure out what was happening, she dose a flip and lands in the balloon’s basket, much to the surprise of Team Rocket.

Jessie: Hey! Who are you?

She says to Domino. Domino didn’t bother responding. She then pulls out her radio and speaks into it again.

Domino: 009, to Team Rocket Combat Unit leaders. Proceed to coordinates.

She says talking into her radio. This seems to get the attention of Team Rocket as puts her radio away.

James: The Team Rocket Combat Unit?

He asks Domino.

Jessie: They’re here?

She asks Domino.

Meowth: Where?

He asks looking around to see them. They then spot dozens of lights, they all look in that direction. Of these lights consists of balloons that look like blimps and a helicopter all going for the island.

Jessie: There they are.

She says staring in awe.

James: Pretty impressive.

He says looking out to see them.

Meowth: Where’s the’d Meowth head balloons?

He asks looking at the balloons. They all as they stare in awe at the sky full of Team Rocket balloons with an airship at the head. Suddenly a shift of weight happens to make the balloon basket tilt slightly, as everyone climbs onto the balloon basket.

Ash: Now we’ve gotach!
He shouts as he as the others make it to the rime of the balloon’s basket.

Cullen: Domino, what are you doing?

Cullen asks a little confused at what’s going on, this surprises Team Rocket yet again.

James: Domino?

He asks with a puzzled look on his face.

Jessie: Is that your real name?

She asks with a puzzled look on her face.

Domino: I don’t reveal my true identity to anyone, that’s a secret I keep to myself, things are simpler that way. But within the Elite ranks of Team Rocket, I have an identity that’s known to all! HA HA!

She says as she jumps up into the air and throws off her coat to reveal: long, white, hip-high boots with a red rim, a white miniskirt with a red rim, long, white gloves with a red rim and short, black, shirt with the unmistakable, bright-red “R” on it. She is also holding jet-black tulip with a dangerously sharp stem.

Domino: My fellow agents know as 009, Domino. But my adversaries know me simple as "The Black Tulip."

She says with an evil smile on her face. Cullen is confused by all of this.

(Author’s note) How many special Team Rocket members are we going to see in the series?! O.O

Cullen: The Black Tulip? But you told me you work for Pokemon Institute?

He asks Domino.

Domino: I do, but Team Rocket has agents working everywhere.

She says and then turns around to face the camera and winks.

Domino: You just never know. It mitt innocent enough, but a friendly face maybe hiding our fearest foe.

Team Rocket then pops up.

James: Look at our faces.
Jessie: Their friendly.

Meowth: And foely.

They all say with smiling faces.

Domino: All I see are the faces of losers.

She says as she leans back with one hand on the basket and has a big smile on her face.

Domino: Here’s a little souvenir.

She says as throwing the black tulip at the balloon causing it to pop.

Domino: Bye, nice to you go. HA HA!

She says as she laughs, while waving at them, and then makes a fast getaway in a hang-glider, which lands her right at the door of Giovanni’s airship which opens up as soon as she lands. She then enters thought the door. While, Ash and his friends are thrown off into the lake and Jessie, James and Meowth land on the island, with Pikachu. Then Jessie, James, and Meowth get caught up in the balloon on another tree branch.

Jessie: Do either of you think we should utilize an alternate means of transportation?

She asks them.

Meowth: Not really.

He says to Jessie. But James seems happy for some reason.

James: Well, at lest we finally caught the twerp’s Pikachu, that sultrily progress.

He says as he pulls up the wire that Pikachu was tied up in.

James: Huh?

He asks as he looks at the wire, only to find that he had escaped.

Meowth: He must of escaped during the’d crush.

He says as he sees that it has been broken.

Jessie: Now he’s just sitting there.

She says. As we see, Pikachu is on the ground, angry, with sparks coming from his
cheeks.

James: Why is he sparking like that?

He asks.

Meowth: Maybe he wants to play?

He asks.

Pikachu: PIKA……………CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

He says as he shocking them, until another bolt hits Pikachu's.

Jessie: Hey, he went easy on us this time.

She says a more then a little surprised by it.

James: I wonder why?

He asks as he, Jessie and Meowth drop from the branch and land on the ground with a thud.

Meowth: Hey, look.

Meowth says as he points to a hill, there we see Pikachutwo.

James: Pikachu.

He says confused by this.

Jessie: And Pikachu?

She asks with a puzzled look on her face.

Pikachutwo: Pika, Pika, Pikachu!

He says angrily.

Jessie: What’s he saying?

She asks Meowth.

Meowth: That’d one up on the hill says, “So we meet again.”

He says.

Jessie: They know each other?

She asks Meowth.

Meowth: I don’t know. The one up on the hill sure knows the twiep’s Pikachu.

He says not sure what’s going on.

Jessie: Hmm.

As she, James and Meowth watch.

Pikachutwo: Pika. Pikapikachu.

As sparks fly from his cheeks.

Meowth: It ain't happy. It's saying, "You shouldn't have come here. This place is ours."

He keeps translating Pikachutwo’s words in human tongue.

Pikachutwo: Pika. Pika pikachu pika.

He says still looking at Ash’s Pikachu.

Meowth: It said, "We came here to make a new home and live in peace, but you brought humans, and humans are the last thing Pokemon need, especially clone Pokemon." I never saw a clone Pokemon before. Wonder what they are.

He says a little unsure and confused by what the clone means.

Pikachu: Pi? Pika pika?

He asks just as confused as Meowth.

Meowth: The twerp's Pikachu don't know what they are either.

Still confused by the conversation.

Pikachutwo: Pi pi pika.

He approaches Pikachu with electric sparks as Pikachu seems surprised by the actions of Pikachutwo.

Meowth: "Get out, or you'll regret it!"

Meowth says as Pikachutwo powers up and gets ready for an attack.

Pikachu: Pika?

He asks while alarmed by this.

James: Looks like they're about to battle!

Excitement in his voice as he, Jessie and Meowth keep watching.

Jessie: Pikachu versus Pikachu? This could be the match of the year!

She just as excited as him to see this battle. Pikachutwo gets ready to battle while Pikachu has no clue why. Just then Mewtwo comes and lands on the rock that Pikachutwo was just standing and tries to reason with him.

Mewtwo: No. Fighting is senseless.

He says to Pikachutwo.

Pikachutwo: Pi. PIKA!

He says while glaring up at Mewtwo and then goes after Pikachu.

Pikachu: Pika!

He says surprised by what his clone is going to do. However, Mewtwo stops him in time slowly sits him back down on the ground.

Mewtwo: There is need for such battling. You are the same the other Pokemon, you
proved this the last time we battled the Pokemon from we were copied.

Mewtwo tells him who is now joined by the other clones. Pikachu walks over to his clone to see if he is ok.

Pikachu: Pika.

He says worried about him since he seems to be whimpering some as he walks over to him.

Pikachutwo: Chu!

But Pikachu is slapped away some by Pikachutwo This gets the attention of Team
Rocket.

Jessie: This seems awfully familiar.

She says looking around.

James: This is like the sequel to a movie that I’ve missed.

He says. They say which gets Mewtwo’s attention, as he turns and looks down at them. This makes Team Rocket scared as they hold each other in an embrace.

Jessie: Don’t mind us. We’re just looking for a balloon repair shop.

She says looking up at him.

James: I know you’re psychic, but have we met before?

He asked looking up at him. Mewtwo then looks back up at the sky.

Mewtwo: I've searched for a place to live in secret and in peace. Now these humans have found us again. Perhaps we shall never find peace.

He says as he turns to see the army of Team Rocket balloons getting closer to the island.

Pikachutwo: Pika, pikachu!

He says as he looks up at Mewtwo.

Meowth: It's saying their only choice is to stand their ground. If they don't, their home will get taken away from them. They gotta battle.

The clones react in agreement.

Pikachutwo: Pika, pika pika pikachu!

He shots as this seems to scare Meowth.

Meowth: "This has gotta be more than a battle"? "This is war"? Ahh! What'd I get into?

The clones again react in agreement.

Pikachu: Pika! Pikachu!

He says while shaking his head.

Meowth: Pikachu’s right there’s no reason for you Pokemon to fight us Pokemon. Huh?

He then realizes that his clone is sitting next to him.

Meowthtwo: Meow, meow, meow?

He says to Meowth.

Meowth: Yeah, it is a full moon. Sure is pretty, huh?

Meowth says looking up at the moon. Mewtwo then looks up at the moon.

Mewtwo: The moon reflects the light of the sun. Pokemon born into this world may walk freely in that sun. But we were created. Reflections. We are shadows. Perhaps we should not live in sunlight, but in the shadows of moonlight.

He says looking at the moon.

Meowth: The’d moon looks awful bright tonight.

Says Meowth who is still like up at it, with his clone still sitting next to him.

Pikachutwo: Pikachu! Pika, pikapika, pika!

He shouts still anger and now sad as well.

Meowth: It's saying that it ain't fair that they have to live like shadows.

Pikachutwo’s words make the cat Pokemon a bit sad as well.

Pikatwo: Pika, pika pikachu!

He cries out as tear form in his eyes.

Meowth: "This place is beautiful. But beyond this place, there's a big, wide world."

Touched by how the clone Pokemon feels as he keeps translating.

Pikatwo: Pikapi.

As Pikachutwo looks out to the horizon.

Meowth: "A bright world."

He says as various beautiful places around the world are shown, and then the earth appears as it does from space. The earth fades out into the full moon, bringing the camera back to Pikachutwo and Pikachu.

Pikachu: Pika.

Feeling sad for his copy.

Pikachutwo: Pika, pika pika pikachu!

He says angrily to Pikachu.

Meowth: "You know that world, don't you, Pikachu? You were born in it, and you can live in it, any way and anywhere you want!"

A bit anger as well as he looks at Pikachu.

Pikachu: Pikachu.

Nodding his head.

Pikachutwo: Pika, pikachu! Pika pika pikachu!

He continues as Mewtwo watches from behind

Meowth: "But because of what we are, we can't live in that world like you do."

He says sadly as he watches the events unfold.

Pikachutwo: Pika. Pikachu pikachu.

With tears still in his eyes.

Meowth: "Whatever we do or wherever we go, we don't belong."

He says as he folds his arms cross his chest. Jessie and James become inspired and decide to say something different to finish off their motto.

Jessie: I know that feeling. Ever since I was a little girl, the world has always treated me as a misfit. As an outcast. As someone who doesn't really belong. So prepare for trouble!

James: And make it double. We unite all peoples, we extend our reach, we blast off. So, surrender now or prepare to fight!

Meowth: Meowth that's-- oh?

He stops short as he sees his clone next to him.

Meowth: Eheheheh.

He laughs weakly.

Mewtwo: Enough!

Mewtwo shouts while staring at them which in turns startles them as they look up at him again, still wonder why he looks so familiar.

Mewtwo: We will stay here and live in peace, if we can.

He says, as he looks up into the night sky. Then we go back to the inside of Giovanni’s airship. Where Domino is has rejoined them and is standing next to Giovanni, along with his Persain, who is sitting next to his master.

Giovanni: Prepare, my old friend. For at sunrises, we will meet again.

He says with a smile on his face. We then see Ash and the others slowly walking out of the lake.

Brock: Is everybody okay?

He asks worried that someone mitt be hurt.

Misty: I'm alright.

She says as Togepi chirps.

Misty: Togepi's fine, too.

While holding the little Pokemon close.

Ash: I won't be fine. Not until I see Pikachu again.

While Ash has a depressed look on his face as he hangs his head down.

Cullen: Team Rocket's balloon was headed for that island, Ash.

While pointing to an island far off. Which lifts his spirit as he looks toward it.

Ash: Then that's where I'm going.

As he starts wading toward the island.
Misty: Ash, wait.

She calls to him as he stops and turns to look at her.

Luna: I have an idea. See that giant tree trunk lying over there?

She points to a log on the ground not far from them.

Luna: We'll build a canoe out of it.

She says.

Ash: A canoe?

Not sure how they could do that since they don’t have any craving tools.

Misty: Sure. And we can use our Pokemon to help.

Understanding what Luna means. As Ash pulls out two of his Pokeballs and smiles.

Ash: Well, let's get started! Chikorita, Bulbasaur, I choose you!

Releasing his two grass Pokemon from their Pokeballs.

Ash: Okay. Let's see if you can make that log into a canoe!

Both Bulbasaur and Chikorita use Razor Leaf to cut the log. As the clouds cover the moon again, Ash and co. row to the island.

Misty: We can't let them see us here. The quicker we get there, the better.

Looks over at the Team Rocket blimps that are flying over head. Mewtwo on the other hand was watching Team Rocket's airship as they drew closer and closer to the island on his glowing, green, TV.

Mewtwo: If the humans will not leave us in peace, so be it. We will leave this place and search for another. We will continue to search until we find a place to live and to belong.

Team Rocket sees the Combat Squad coming.

James: The Combat Squad will rescue us.

Getting happy about being freed.

Jessie: I certainly hope not.

She says not at all happy as James is.

James: Why?

He asks while he, Jessie and Meowth are taken hostage by the clone Venusaurtwo and Bulbasaurtwo with their vines.

Jessie: Do you really want the boss to see us in another humiliating situation?

She asks him with a gloom face.

Meowth: Shh! Pipe down. The other Pikachu wants to say something important.

Wanting to hear what’s going on.

Pikachutwo: Pika! Pika pika! Pikachu, pika!

He tells the others clones.

Meowth: It said, "If we don't do something to get out of here, they're gonna catch us and use us in Pokemon cloning experiments."

He starts translating Pikachutwo again.

Pikachutwo: Pika, pikapika pika!

He keeps talking to his fellow clones.

Meowth: "Just because we're clones don't mean they can treat us any way they want!"

He gets a bit anger himself as Gyaradostwo roars a battle cry.

Pikachutwo: Pika! Pika, pika, pikaa!

He keeps talking as the clones agree with him.

Meowth: "I say we leave this place and go wherever we please!"

He says as he and his two human friends watch.

James: That's great news. Ask them to bring us, too.

He says turning to look at Meowth.

Jessie: We'll be glad to go absolutely anywhere!

She adds happily to just stay out of what’s going on as prison bars lock up Jessie and James in a cave.

Jessie: They didn't tell us we were going to prison.

She says as she and James sit in front of the bars and grips them with their hands and gloomy looks on their face.

James: Next time we use a travel agent.

He says as he and Jessie look at Meowth who is not behind bars with them.

Meowth: You humans are all the same. What'd you expect them to do, invite Team Rocket along for the ride?

He says turning his back to his two friends.

Jessie: You're on Team Rocket. Why aren't you locked up like we are?

Getting annoyed and puzzled as to why he’s not.

Meowth: Well, I'm valuable 'cause I can talk human talk. That'll come in handy.

As he keeps his back to them.

James: But then why are we here?

He whines while looking at Meowth.

Meowth: They'll let you go as long as I do my job, and don't try any funny stuff. Haa!

He turns around and smiles looking at Meowthtwo.

Meowthtwo: Nyaa!

As he copies Meowth.

Jessie: So, you scratch its back and it scratches yours.

Finally understanding what Meowth is up to as he puffs out his chest a bit.

Pikachutwo: Pipi. Pikachu!

He shouts out as the clone Pokemon get ready to depart.

Meowth: Well, we're moving out.

As he follows after them followed by his clone.

Pikachu: Pi~ka.

Pikachu follows as well.

James: Hey, that's the twerp's Pikachu.

He says in surprise to see this.

Jessie: Meowth, you're working with the enemy.

Getting fired up again.

Meowth: Take it easy, you two. Don't you see this is the perfect opportunity? As soon as we get this mess cleaned up, I'll grab Pikachu.

Grinning as he looks over at them.

James: What do you think, Jessie?

He turns to the young girl next to him in the cell.

Jessie: I think we can trust Meowth.

She says to him.

Meowth: Then I'll take Pikachu straight to the boss. He'll be so happy, I bet I'll finally get a Team Rocket uniform!

He grins more as he walks up the stairs as this angers Jessie and James.

Jessie and James: TRAITOR!

They yell at him with anger looks on their faces.

Pikachutwo, Meowthtwo, Pikachu, Meowth, Gyaradostwo, Pidgeottwo, Dewgongtwo, Blastoisetwo, Wigglytufftwo, Ninetalestwo, Vaporeontwo, Golducktwo, and Hitmonleetwo surf across the lake. While, Mewtwo and the rest of the clones watch as they leave from the island’s mountain’s top.

Mewtwo: Should I let them go? All creatures ought to control their own destinies. Or should I force them to stay? Here I can use my powers to protect them from harm. But do
I have the right to keep them from living as they choose? Which is more important.... Their safety or their freedom?

Talking to himself. As Ash and co. finally arrive at the island's underground dock and take the stairs.

Ash: I'm coming, Pikachu.

Thinking to himself as everyone runs up the stairs into a beautiful spring.

Ash: What is this place?

As he and the others look around in awe by the site as Cullen walks over and takes a sample of the water from the springs and tests it with a machine.

Cullen: Wow, it's off the chart! Luna, this spring must be the source for Purity River. The water's chemical makeup is astounding!

Getting very excited and happy as he turns looks at her while smiling.

Luna: I knew it would be…

She says with a sad tone to her voice.

Cullen: The human body, in fact all living things, are made up of mostly water. Water is essential for life. And the quality of the water helps determine the quality of life.

He keeps talking with excitement in his voice.

Luna: Yes. This place is bursting with life. That's because it's clean here. Untouched. Pure. And the source of that purity is the spring.

As the camera shows the spring and it’s surroundings.

Cullen: Maybe this spring isn't just the source of all the water in Purity Canyon. It could be a whole new way to bring health and happiness to the whole world. Ha ha! We may be standing on the edge of the most important discovery in medical history!

As a group of baby Rhyhorn and Nidoqueen emerge from the bushes to take a drink of water.

Misty: Aww, cuties!

She smiles at how small and cute they are.

Brock: Wow, without a Pokemon breeder around, it's amazing they all look so healthy.

He says in awe by them.

Luna: In a habitat as clean as this one, they couldn't help but grow up to be strong and healthy. The air, the food, and the water are all natural.

As it shows the little babies drinking.

Misty: I wonder if their parents are nearby.

Looking around for the adults as Luna points to a hill top.

Luna: They're watching over them from up there. They're all very protective and very proud. The babies here are living happy, healthy lives.

As Rhyhorntwo and Nidoqueentwo who are watching on a top of a hill.

Cullen: They look just as happy and healthy as their offspring do.

He smiles and looks up at them.

Luna: I think we should move on now. They might get nervous.

She then looks at Ash.

Luna: We have to found Pikachu.

Ash: I just hope Pikachu's someplace where it's nice and safe.

Then we go to the other side of island where, Pikachutwo has leaded the clones that had followed him, along with Ash’s Pikachu and Team Rocket’s Meowth.

Meowth: Ahh…I made it.

He says.

Pikachutwo: Pika, pika.

Pikachutwo says to the other clones. They seem to agree with what he says.

Meowth: We’re safe.

Meowth says finally. Just then, Giovanni's airship appears from behind large rock. A cannon then appears at the bottom of it, firing at a few clones, causing them to become
stunned, which make them easier to capture. Team Rocket makes their move and starts stealing the Pokemon. They were just about to grab Pikachutwo when suddenly...

Pikachu: PIKA…………..CHU!

He yells as he shocks his clone and frees him.

Pikachutwo: Pika?

He asks shocked that Pikachu helped him after the way he treated him before as he shakes it off and runs to join Pikachu. Then Meowth runs up to Meowthtwo.

Meowth: Come on, hurry. Pull yourself together.

He says as he scratches him in the face.

Meowthtwo: Meow? Meow?

He asks Meowth why he scratched him.

Meowth: Huh? Sorry, about that, pal.

He says to his clone as he gasps.

Meowth: I didn’t mean to scratch ya. I just don’t want them to catch you. Come on, let’s hurry! Run for it!

He says as he grabs Meowthtwo by the paw, just before the cannon fires at the very spot they just where. Then they start to run; Meowth, Meowthtwo, Pikachu and Pikachutwo away from the airship and its cannon but are caught in a dead end. The airship’s cannon fires another purple ball of energy and is just about to hit the Pikachu and the Meowth. The Pikachu and the Meowth cringe in proportion of the pain when out of nowhere a ball of black and blue energy intercepts the first one. The Pikachu and the Meowth look up to see; Mewtwo floating in the air with a Shadowball in his hand. He then tries to shot down Giovanni's airship with one of them but misses. He then uses his psychic powers to releases the other clones from the Rocket Balls. Then a platform slowly rises up from the top of the airship with Giovanni standing on it and with Domino standing on left side and his Persian on his other side sitting down. Giovanni stares at Mewtwo and Mewtwo stares back at Giovanni.

(Author’s Note) If looks could kill, like the way Mewtwo looks right now, then Giovanni would be dead on the spot. ^^

Mewtwo: You.

Mewtwo says bitterly as if it was poison he had just swallowed all the while glaring at Giovanni. Mewtwo still remembers what Giovanni did to him and how Giovanni treated him in the past.

Giovanni: It's been quite a while. You’re looking well.

He says sneering at Mewtwo with an evil smile on his face.

Mewtwo: Leave this place at once. I warn you my strength is far greater then when we first met.

Mewtwo says still glaring up at his form trainer; with anger in his eyes.

Giovanni: Your increased strength comes as no surprise; furtively my technicians have predicted it and have created new technology to deal with it.

He says looking at Mewtwo with an evil look in his eyes. Two machines appear beside Mewtwo and cause a shock, sending Mewtwo slamming down into the ground blow with a huge crash.

Mewtwo: Uhhh!

Mewtwo shouts, much to the surprise of the Meowth and the Pikachu; who can only watch.

Meowth: AAAAHH!

Meowth yells.

The Pikachu: PIKA!

The two Pikachu yell as they watch. This cause a smile to appear on Giovanni’s face, as he watches and weights for Mewtwo’s reaction to his new weapon.

Giovanni: Well, it seems my new equipment is worth the considerable investment.

He says with a smile. But, Mewtwo isn’t even flinched by it. But, there is large crater there, where he fell. He then gets up and glares up at Giovanni.

Mewtwo: You should fear my power most of all! You cannot conquer me.

He warns Giovanni.

Giovanni: Your psychic attacks bend wills of living creatures but, they cannot influence machines.

He says smugly.

Mewtwo: We will see about that.

Mewtwo says turning and looking at the two machines that are on each side of him and then glares up at Giovanni with a fearless look in his eyes.

Giovanni: Active the force fields!

He shouts to Domino who pushes a button and the machines charge up, Mewtwo constrain as well as he summons his power and quickly dispose of them. Giovanni still somewhat impressed by how much Mewtwo's power has grown.

Giovanni: Well done, Mewtwo. You have demonstrated that technology has its limits. An important lesson to keep in mind. But living creatures have their limits, too.

He says as he closes his eyes.

Mewtwo: Do not test the limits of my power.

Mewtwo says, still keeping both eyes open and on him.

Giovanni: It appears that would prove futile.

Giovanni says as he reopens his eyes again.

Giovanni: So... We'll our battle over to that island.

He says, pointing to the island.

Domino: I'll fly over there... for Phase 2.

She says using a jet pack; she leads Team Rocket to the island.

Giovanni: So, I understand some Pokemon friends of yours are over on that island. Now we'll see how powerful your loyalties are!

He says looking down at Mewtwo.

Mewtwo: You are despicable.

Mewtwo says, giving Giovanni a menacing look. We then see Ash and company racing up the stairs to where they hear the noise. Then, WHAP! WHAP! WHAP! Ash and company felt something tightening around middles. They looked down to see large metal clamps that seem to have come out of nowhere.

Misty: What’s going on?

She asked in surprise. Then everyone looks down to see what it is.

Everyone: Huh?

They all ask and then, they all turn to see Domino standing, holding one of her black tulips in her hand and an army of Rockets behind her.

Domino: Unfortunately, your being here is very inconvenient for us. We can’t let anyone interfere and prevent us from reaching our objectives. We can’t let you leave until our operation is over.

She says to everyone.

Ash: You better!

He says to Domino looking at her angrily. Then we go back to the cell, that Jessie and James in.

Jessie: James?

She asks James.

James: What?

He asks Jessie.

Jessie: If Meowth doesn’t come back, what do we do about....

She starts to ask, but James finishes it for her.

James: If Meowth doesn’t come back, what do we do about what?

He asks Jessie.

Jessie: What do we do about the motto?

She asks him.

James: I never thought about that.

He says to her. That thought had never accrued to James before.

Jessie: Maybe we should praticle?

She asks James. This makes sense to him as they both stand up and start to count.

Both: 1... 2...Looks like Team Rocket’s never blasting off again!

We then go back to the spring, where the baby Rhyhorn and baby Nidoqueen are playing.

Domino: Aren’t they just simple adorable?

Domino asks Ash and friends as she picks up one of the baby Nidoqueen.

Luna: Those Pokemon are just babies leave them alone!

She shouts at Domino and then Nidoqueentwo leaps at Domino along with Rhyhorntwo.

Domino: HA HA!

She laughs and simply throws one of her tulips and it shocks the two severely. Then the same rings that she used to catch Ash and co. appear and catch them as well.

Ash: STOP IT, DOMINO!

He yells at her. But, Domino ignores what he says, completely.

Domino: I know trainers catch their Pokemon with Pokeballs, but I prefer our method.

She says while stroking the baby Nidoqueen still in her arms on the head. She then turns to one of the Rockets.

Domino: Make certain not a single one gets away.

She then starts talking to Ash and friends again.

Domino: Theses Pokemon are just going to be used in experiments and as bait for Mewtwo. No sense in wasting Pokeballs.

She says coldly to Ash and friends.

Then Domino finds Jesse and James still in the cell she then opens up the cell and walks up to them.

Domino: Well, what do have here? Some rare and valuable Pokemon?

She asks making funny of Jessie and James. This makes Jessie mad.

Jessie: You know very well, we’re not Pokemon!

She shouts at Domino. At this point Domino closes her eyes.

Domino: Oh, that’s right I forgot. Team Rocket Agents are as useless as they are rare....

She then reopens her eyes again and has a little evil smile on her face.

Domino: But they sirtery aren’t very valuable.

This makes James mad and Jessie even more so.

Jessie: Grrr!

We then go back to where Giovanni is on his airship. Just then Domino calls on her radio.

Domino: 009 to Giovanni, except for the Pokemon brought by a young trainer. The island is populated by Pokemon clones and we've got them. Over.

Giovanni: Excellent. The trap is set and now we have the bait.

He says talking into his radio to Domino and then he turns off his radio and turns on his loudspeaker again.

Giovanni: Mewtwo, are you going to let your little friends battle me alone?

He asked Mewtwo on the loudspeaker.

Mewtwo: I cannot. I must help them.

He says to himself. Then, all the clones decide to help Mewtwo if possible.

Meowth: This’d guys all want help out too.

He says. Then Meowthtwo says something to Meowth.

Meowthtwo: Meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, meow.

Meowthtwo says to Meowth.

Meowth: Who me? You think’t I should along go with ya?

He asks his clone and then talks to Ash’s Pikachu.

Meowth: What do you think’t?

He asks him.

Pikachu: Pika, pika.

Pikachu says while nodding his head.

Meowth: Well, ok. I don’t have a lot of experience at bein’ unselfish. But if you can do it, I guess I can give it a try.

He says to Pikachu. Then Pikachu specks to his clone.

Pikachu: Pika!

Pikachu shouts. This makes Pikachutwo happy.

Pikachutwo: Pika.

Pikachutwo says with a smile and a nod.

Mewtwo: We must live where and how we choose!

Mewtwo says as he rises into the air and then he also allows all the other Pokemon to levitate with him. Then he turns to face them.

Mewtwo: Friends, to the island!

He says as he takes off at top speed and flies to the island with the clones, Meowth and Pikachu. He leads them on to stop the army and to save the other clones. Giovanni sees this and as the two machines hum as he turns off the power. Then the airship changes direction.

Giovanni: 009?

He asks her talking into his radio.

Domino: This is 009.

She says to him talking into her radio.

Giovanni: Mewtwo is heading your way.

He says talking into his radio as his airship starts to take off in the same direction. We then go back to where Domino is.

Domino: Roger, we’re.... Aaah!

She says into hers, but is too late; Mewtwo and the other Pokemon have landed.

Domino: I've been expecting you. This little Nidoqueen sure is a cutie.

She says as she keeps stroking the little Nidoqueen on the head.

Mewtwo: Release that young one.

He says while glaring straight at Domino. Mewtwo then turns his head to the sky, when he hears the sound of Giovanni’s airship.

Domino: That's something you’ll have to take up with my boss.

She says to him. Once again Giovanni appears.

Domino: Here he is now.

She says to him. Mewtwo hears a noise turns around and looks up to see Giovanni’s airship again.

Giovanni: Nice to see you.

He says with evil dripping in his voice to Mewtwo.

Giovanni: Do I take it you are willing to obey my commands, now?

He asks Mewtwo.

(Author’s Note) THIS GUY JUST DOSEN’T KNOW WHEN TO GIVE UP, DOSEN’T HE?!

Mewtwo: No. I would sooner leave this world then serve you.

Mewtwo says while glaring up at Giovanni with anger in his eyes.

Giovanni: I suggest you reconsider your opinion, if you counite to defy me; then your fellow creations will all be used in our experiments and will surely leave this world.

He says as his Persain looks over to see Mewtwo.

Mewtwo: Hmm...

He says. The two machines from before appear drop to the ground and create an energy sphere; five feet in front of Mewtwo.

Mewtwo: Stand away. I must submit to him.

He says to the clone Pokemon and then all of the Pokemon part aside for Mewtwo.

Giovanni: This not meant to destroy you. It has been developed to simply harness your abilities and mold your will to my purposes.

He says looking down at Mewtwo.

Mewtwo: Your purposes?!

He asks angrily as his eyes widen.

Domino: Don't bother wasting your time destroying them we're quite capable creating new ones.

She tells Mewtwo. Mewtwo turns his head toward her direction.

Domino: But if you try to fight us, your little friends will be the ones to pay the price.

She says evilly and to show she’s not kidding around, Domino points her tulip at Pikachutwo and fires an energy blast at him.

(Author’s Note) This girl is just as mean as Giovanni is!

Pikachutwo: PI!

Pikachutwo yells as he is hit by the blast.

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Pikachu yells as he runs to the aid of his clone. Then she blasts Ash's Pikachu as well as Pikachutwo again.

Mewtwo: I will do as you say.

Says Mewtwo after watching what Domino just did to the Pikachu.

Giovanni: All you have to do now is step into the light.

Giovanni says smiling at the fact that he’s finally got Mewtwo where he wants him.

(Author’s Note) I’m no fan of Giovanni! I hate him as much as Mewtwo dose! So don’t be offended by any of the remarks that I make about him. Thank you.

Mewtwo slowly walks forward with his head down toward the energy sphere. While the clones telling him not to do it, but still he goes anyway.

(Author’s Note) I didn’t realize how graceful Mewtwo looks when he’s walking. ^___^
Meowth: Their’d telling him to stop, but he's going anyway. This'd could be a big mistake.

Meowth says as he and his clone can only watch the events unfold as Mewtwo enters the sphere and it rise into the air.

Giovanni: That's a good boy, now you won't be able run away from me again.

He says smiling evilly.

Mewtwo: You may control my body but you will never control my will.

Mewtwo says, glaring up at Giovanni.

Giovanni: Well…we'll soon see.

He smiles and then shocks Mewtwo so he can't do a thing.

(Author’s Note) Is this guy a creep or what?! I can think of some other names that I’d like to call him but, since there maybe some little kids reading this…so I won’t say them.

Mewtwo: AAAAHH! I will not submit! Aaah!

He shouts to Giovanni in pain.

Giovanni: Your strong, Mewtwo. But pain makes the body master of the will; let's see how long they struggle.

He says as Mewtwo’s moans and screams fill the air. Then Giovanni surveys the island around him.

Giovanni: This is a very charming place. I had hoped on finding such a pretty little spot, it’s perfect for my new laboratory. Finally I will be able create a vast army of the world’s most powerful Pokemon!

He turns to face Mewtwo again who is still fighting the machines and crying out in pain.

Giovanni: And you... Will be at its head... Carrying out my commands! Together we
will rule the world!

Finally overcome by the pain, Mewtwo passes out.

We then see Ash and the others walking into a cave along with the clone Pokemon as he sees Pikachu and Pikachutwo faint.

Ash: Pikachu!

He holds both of them as he looks at his Pikachu and then at his clone.

Ash: Pikachu. You both looked wiped out. What'd they do to you?

He looks down at the two Pokemon as they slowly come to.

Pikachu and Pikachutwo: Pikapi...

Looking weakly up at the human trainer.

Cullen: Luna, get the spring water that's in the vial in my pocket. It may revive them.

She nods.

Luna: Right.

As she takes the vial and moves over to Ash and the two weak Pokemon.

Luna: This might be just what they need.

As she slowly pours the water into the mouth of the two mouse Pokemon. After they drink the water, both Pikachu are miraculously restored to health.

Ash: It worked! Ahaha!

He laughs and smiles as the two Pikachu jump up from his arms.

Pikachu and Pikachutwo: Pikachu!

As the two researchers watch in amazement.

Cullen: That water is just incredible.

Luna: I knew it was healthy, but its healing powers are absolutely amazing.

But the good moment is cut short when Domino walks up to them.

Domino: Stop muttering and start walking. You can't stay here. We have a place all prepared.

Ash: Errr!

His anger burning once more for the girl he thought was friend.

Cullen: And where's that?

Asking while looking at her as prison doors get pushed closed.

Ash: You better let us out of here right now!

He shouts as his shakes the bars some he and the others no longer having the clamps around them.

Domino: Hmmhmhm.

Flips her tulip to her cheek and smells it.

Domino: You may not get out at all.

She says as Team Rocket members bring in materials to start constructing Giovanni's new laboratory at Mewtwo’s home by way of blimp.

Domino: Everything is going according to plan. Construction of our base is proceeding. What's the status of Mewtwo?

Talking to her boss by way of walkie-talkie as he sits in Mewtwo cave room, using his screen to check up on him.

Giovanni: He’s stronger than I realized. His brainwaves haven't altered at the least! If this goes on much longer, his body will be destroyed before his will is!

Getting anger as he looks at Mewtwo through the screen.

Domino: You can't destroy him. It could take years to clone him again!

She says trying to convince her boss not to push Mewtwo.

Giovanni: I know that! But this has become a battle between Mewtwo's will and mine!

He shouts as he breaks his walkie-talkie as Domino cringes at the explosion and static.

Domino: Well, don't take it out on me!

As she walks away a bit.

Domino: Can't you two work faster?

As we see Jessie and James sweeping the floor.

Domino: Use some elbow grease. I want to be able to see my face in that floor! Now, hurry up!
She keeps shouting at them.

Jessie: We'll show her!

She growls as she and James keep sweeping. The pollution from the construction gets dumped in the lake. Various Bug Pokemon arrive and fly to the island. Back in the cell, the Pokemon clones call out.

Ash: What are they saying?

Looking around unsure what’s happening with the clones.

Pikachu: Pika.

He says sensing something.

Meowth: They say they're coming, and they're very angry.

He looks at the bars of the prison.

Ash: What are you talking about? Who's coming?

Now confused as to what Meowth means.

Meowth: The Bug Pokemon. They're mad at the people that are polluting the lake. And they're coming to stop them!

While in Mewtwo's room, Giovanni's Persian senses something and meows.
Giovanni: Be quiet.

He tells his prized cat Pokemon as Persion bows its head down in defeat. Immediately, a swarm of Beedrill flies through the cave windows.

Giovanni: What's happening!?

Shocked and alarmed to this. A flock of Butterfree gets inside the cave and spreads Sleep Powder all over.

Team Rocket member: Hey, what's that?

Gets sleepy by the powder, which causes him to let go of the blowtorch. The blowtorch drops down and makes a chain reaction of explosions. While at the prison cell...

Ash: What's going on?

He asks as he hears the noise as the explosion finally reaches the gang, and breaks the prison bars loose.

Brock: Hey, look!

He says sees an opening.

Ash: A way out. Now's our chance. Come on, everybody! Hurry!

Everyone rushes out to freedom; humans and Pokemon.

Cullen: Luna, I'm going back that way.

He turns and looks at her.

Luna: What for?

A bit puzzled by his words.

Cullen: I'm worried about the spring. I'll go along with you.

As they both run off to the spring. Scene switches to Domino as she faces a swarm of Ledian. She throws several black tulips, but they get blocked off by the Scyther. Domino extends a black tulip into a rod and blocks an incoming Scyther to the side and then runs.

Domino: They'll never stop the Black Tulip because I can think on my feet!

Using her rod to lunge herself over the Ledian, but as she lands she loses her grip on the slippery floor and tries to balance herself.

Domino: Ow, ah, ah, ow, ah!

She cries as Jessie and James watches from a hiding spot.

Jessie: I guess that floor we mopped is still a little slippery. Perfect for a character like her!

Domino: Ah, ah, ow, ah!

As she continues to struggle, but lands face-first on a pail. As they appear around her.

Jessie: What happened, Domino? You looked fine when you first came in, but now your face seems--

With a grin on her face.

James: A little pail!

As he completes her line grinning as well. Luna and Cullen get to spring, and then take a sample of the water in a tube.

Cullen: The spring hasn’t been contemned.

He says as he hands it to Luna.

Luna: Thank goodness.

She says to him as she takes the tube into her hands.

Meanwhile Ash, Misty and Brock make it to poor Mewtwo, who still in the entrapment.

Mewtwo: Uhu...Uhu...Uhu...

He says in pain still trying to break free.

Pikachutwo: Pika, pi.

Upon hearing Pikachutwo, Mewtwo turns and looks down to see him, Meowthtwo, as well as Ash and company.

Mewtwo: I am glad you are safe.

He says to Pikachutwo cringing in pain.

Pikachutwo: Pika?

Pikachutwo asks Mewtwo.

Mewtwo: But I can't bear this much longer!

He says cringing in pain from the shock that the machines are producing.

Ash: Mewtwo.

He says. This gets Mewtwo’s attention, as turns his head and looks down at Ash and the others.

Mewtwo: How do you know my name?

Mewtwo asks while looking at Ash alone.

Ash: We head it from Meowth and Meowth told us that you’re the one who saved my
Pikachu. There's got to be some way to help you, now.

He says to Mewtwo. This gets his attention.

Mewtwo: Stop those machines.

He says in pain. Misty and Brock look at the machines, for away to turn them off.

Misty: Brock, maybe there's a cut off switch.

She says to Brock.

Brock: It's no use, they all sealed up.

He says to them both.

Ash: WELL, WE'LL HAVE TO TACKLE THEM!

Ash yells and then tackles one of them, but that doesn't work.

Brock: Hit it harder.

He says and then he tries, but still no effect. Ash and Brock then take turns ramming it, but that doesn't do anything. So the Pikachu and the Meowth throw themselves at the same one too. But still no luck, so they all charge at once, but the focuses just changes.

Brock: WE CAN'T STOP THEM!

He yells up to Mewtwo.

Mewtwo: Then I must what remains of my power. Either these machines will be destroyed or I will!

He says in pain and then powers up, this cause him even more pain as he yells out.

(Author’s Note) I always cry at this part. I mean, how much more pain dose Mewtwo have to go through in his life?!

Mewtwo: AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

He yells as he uses the rest of his powers to break the machines.

Ash: HANG IN THERE, MEWTWO!

He yells to Mewtwo.

Misty: YOU CAN DO IT!

She yells encouraging Mewtwo. All the while Mewtwo is yelling out in pain.

The Pikachu: PIKA!

They yell as they watch Mewtwo try to escarp. Then Ash gets an idea.

Ash: Both of you help out with your Thunderbolt.

Both Pikachu and Pikachutwo agree with that, as they step up in forward in front of the machines and use their Thunderbolt attack.

Both of them: Pi. PIKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACHUUUUUUUUUUU!

They say as they fire their Thunderbolt attacks at one of the machines.

Mewtwo: ARHG!

He yells in pain. With the combined force of the thunderbolts and what little power Mewtwo has left they manage to destroy them. But he is too weak to float in the air that he falls to the ground with a sickening thud.

Everyone: MEWTWO!

They all yell as they run to his aid.

Ash: You did it, you beat them.

He says excitedly to Mewtwo. But, Mewtwo is too weak to even move.

Mewtwo: Yes...but I have also destroyed myself.

Mewtwo says weakly in defeat.

The Pikachu: Pika, pi. Pika, pika.

They both say, shake theirs heads and each one grabs one of Mewtwo's paws /hands and trying pulling at him to get up.

Meowth: The'd spring, they'd saying, come to the'd spring, Mewtwo!

Meowth says as he and his clone look on.

Brock: The water there did revive the Pikachu. Maybe it'll help Mewtwo.

Brock says to everyone.

Ash: Then let's go there.

He says as they all start to help Mewtwo get to his feet.

Voice: You're not going anywhere.

A voice says to them from behind.

Everyone: Huh?

They ask as they all turn to see Giovanni and his army of Elite Team Rocket members.

Giovanni: Mewtwo belongs to me and I alone will be the one to decide, whether he will
survive or not.

He says to Ash and company.

Misty: OH, NO YOU WON'T!

Brock: WE WON'T LET YOU, GO!

They yell as they send out all of their Pokemon to distract them.

Meowth: Huh?

He asks as he spots Jessie and James, pecking out of a cave.

Jessie: It’s the boss. What do we do?

She says to James.

James: He may do something drastic, like ask for our expect report.

He says nervously to Jessie. Just then Meowth runs up to them.

Meowth: Hey, guys. It’s great to see ya.

He says excitedly.

Both: You?

They ask when they see Meowth run up to them.

Jessie: Come on; let’s find a place to hide.

[Aitwo22]

Jessie: Come on; let’s find a place to hide.

She says to her two teammates.

James: Right.

He says in agreement.

Meowth: AAAH!

He yells as they all run away at this point. We then go back to where Ash and company are facing off with Team Rocket and their leader, Giovanni. As Ash watches he has managed to get one of Mewtwo’s arms around his shoulder and is leaning on it.

Brock: You take Mewtwo.

He says as turns to Ash.

Ash: OK.

He says, as he starts to leave with Mewtwo still leaning on his shoulder.

Giovanni: NO!

He yells as he and his army tries to pursue them but they can't. Because the Water-type clones and the Bug-type Pokemon surround them.

Giovanni: What?!

He says as he looks at the army of Pokemon surrounding them.

Giovanni: So you wish to defy me as your leader has? Very well then, I'll crash you, too.

He says with an evil smile on his face. As Ash climbs the long stairway to the spring with Mewtwo leaning on him, he has called out, his Bulbasuar and Chikorita to help him carry Mewtwo up there.

(Author’s Note) That Ash sure is a one really nice person. ^______^

Ash: Thanks, guys. Keep going.

He says to his Pokemon.

Chikorita: Chicko, chicko.

They make their way slowly walking up the steps.

Mewtwo: Why...why are you helping me?

He asks Ash weakly.

Ash: You help save my Pikachu, that's a good reason.

He says to Mewtwo.

Mewtwo: The only one?

Mewtwo asks in surprise. Only one reason; only one good deed, is all it takes for someone to help you. This surprised Mewtwo even more.

Ash: Do you always need a reason to help someone?

Ash asks Mewtwo. Mewtwo was quite for a minute as he thought about this.

Mewtwo: Perhaps, you are unique--a unique human, one of a kind.

Mewtwo says weakly as they make to the top of the tunnel.

Ash: Your one of a kind, too. Everyone is.

Ash says as they make it out of the tunnel and walk to the pool slowly. This seems to make Mewtwo chuckle.

Mewtwo: I don't know what I'm and soon it may not matter.

Mewtwo says with what little strength he has left, as Ash makes it to the spring with Mewtwo still leaning on him, then finds that Luna and Cullen are there.

Luna: Ash!

She shouts to Ash as she and Cullen run up to him, but stop short when they see Mewtwo leaning on Ash’s shoulder.

Cullen: What kind of Pokemon is that?

He asks Ash as he comes closer to the water’s edge, with Mewtwo, still hanging on his shoulder.

Ash: This is Mewtwo, he’s hurt pretty bad. And he needs to into get that spring water fast or he’s not going to make it.
He says to both of them. Cullen then steps forward in front of Ash.

Cullen: Ash, wait! You can’t let that Pokemon get near the water! He might contaminate the whole spring! This water has minerals that humans need!

He shouts at Ash.

Ash: I’M SORRY BUT RIGHT NOW THE ONE WHO NEEDS THAT WATER MOST IS MEWTWO!

Ash yells at Cullen and then throws the now unconscious Mewtwo into the spring.

(Author’s Note) Dose this kid take his vitamins or what?! O_____O

As Mewtwo sinks deeper into the spring he has flashbacks of when he was still in his birth tube.

Mewtwo: I have seen this place. I have been here before. Was it in my dreams? But this is no dream. I feel new life rising within me.

He says to himself. Just then he spots a shadowed form floating in the water that looks like Mew.

Mewtwo: Mew?

He asks the shadowy figure. She looks down at him and then swims away. We then see him still falling deeper into the lake, still unconscious.

Mewtwo: If this waters have the same restoring effect on me as they do on other Pokemon, Pokemon that belong in this world, could it be that this world is my rightful place, too?

He thought to himself as he opens his eyes. Meanwhile, a sudden blast comes shooting at them which just barely misses them. But as soon as the smoke clears Giovanni appears in his airship right above the spring.

Ash: They’re here.

He says, looking up at the airship.

Giovanni: Tell me where Mewtwo is.

He demands of Ash, Luna and Cullen and then starts firing the cannon again.

Cullen: Stop this! You can't come here and destroy this place!
He shouts at Giovanni.

Giovanni: Yes I can. This place belongs to me.

He says with an evil smile on his face. Just then Mewtwo appears in a fountain of water, right behind Giovanni; fully healed and enraged with him.

(Author’s Note) I LOVE THAT PART!! HA HA!! TAKE THAT, GIOVANNI! It scares the living daylights right out of him!! HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!! ^______________^

Giovanni: Huh?

He asks as he turns to see; Mewtwo floating right behind him with a very levied look on his face.

Mewtwo: You will not defile this place. It does not belong to you. Anymore then I do!

Mewtwo says as he creates a large light-blue energy beam with himself as the power
source. Just then Team Rocket runs out of their hiding place.

Jessie: Oh!

James: Oh!

Meowth: What's happenin'?

He asks as the whole place starts to shake from the Mewtwo’s power.

Mewtwo: This place has given me new life.

He says, as the large beam shoots up into the sky.

Mewtwo: Now I shall use all my power to defend it.

He says as the light dies down, the spring has disappeared and so has; Mewtwo, his Pokemon, as well as Ash and company, plus Team Rocket. The only ones left are, Giovanni, his army of Rockets, as well as Luna and Cullen.

Giovanni: WHAT’S HAPPENED HERE?! WHAT’S GOING ON?! WHY IS EVERYONE STANDING AROUND?! WHERE IS MEWTWO?!

He asks and yells to the Team Rocket members.

Cullen: The spring is gone.
He says sadly.

Luna: What about the sample?

She asks as she pulls out tube with a small sample of the spring water.

Cullen: We maybe in luck, we maybe able to create a synthetic version in the lab.

He says to Luna, which makes her seem what happy.

Luna: Yes, but I wonder what happened to all the Pokemon?

She asks looking around. We then Mewtwo along with the others are at the source of the water; Mewtwo and Ash standing next to each other.

Ash: This is amazing...

He says in awe.

Mewtwo: I have moved the lake and the spring beneath Mount Caina, they will be protected here.

He says to Ash.

Ash: Wait till I call Prof. Oak and tell him about this.

He says looking at the place.

Mewtwo: You will tell no one. Once you leave this place you must leave behind your memories of me and all that you have seen here.

He says to Ash. Ash then turns to look at Mewtwo.

Ash: Are you going to make us forget?

He asks Mewtwo.

Meowth: YOU CAN'T DO THAT'D!

He yells as he, Jessie and James run out of their hiding place. This gets Mewtwo’s and Ash’s attention as they to look at them.

Jessie: Meowth, be quiet!

She snapped at him.
James: Don’t stick your nose into this, Meowth!

He adds.

Meowth: It’s got nothing to do with my nose!

He snapped back at them.

Meowth: It’s what all the other Pokemon are saying.

He said as the rest of the Pokemon nodded and made noises enragement with what he was saying.

Meowth: It’s only natural to wonder about who you are and where you come from.

He said. Mewtwo knew this better then anyone. He had thought about this his whole life. Meowth then walks over to where the baby Nidoqueen and Rhyhorn are at.

Meowth: And one day these little ones are going to want some answers.

He says while standing next the babies.

Meowth: Only there won’t be any, not if you going to make everyone forget!

He says getting very upset. The parents of the babies nod and grunt at this with what
Meowth is saying.

Meowth: So what if their parents are clones?

He asks while still looking at the baby Nidoqueen and Rhyhorn around him.

Meowth: They’re all living creatures. They deserve to live and they deserve to know about themselves as much as you or me or anybody…at least, that’s what we thin’t.

He says as he turns to his clone, who nodded in agreement.

Ash: I think we should remember too. Meowth’s right.

He says as this too gets Mewtwo’s attention.

Brock: And just forgetting things doesn’t change the fact that they happened.

He adds in.

Misty: Don’t you think everyone deserves to know who they are and where they come from?

She asked Mewtwo. Mewtwo seems to agree with that.

Mewtwo: Yes.

He said nodding with everything everyone has said.

Mewtwo: They deserve to remember. If we able to look to the future as other Pokemon do, then we must also be able to look to the past. The shame of that past is not ours; it belongs to those who would use our past to set us a part.

He says. We then go back to where Giovanni, his army of Rockets, Luna and Cullen are.

Mewtwo: To insure the safety of all my fellow Pokemon and of this healing place, I will clear only the memories of those who seek, to destroy them.

He says to everyone. Some Butterfree fly over head outside where the large crater is and
spray them with some kind of pollen, which makes them forget what happened.

Mewtwo: Only they shall forget.

He says as he appears on the screen with his eyes glowing blue. Team Rocket then forgets everything that had happened and ends up at some-kind of airport, wondering what happened as well as what they are doing there.

Giovanni: 009, why are we here? What's the combat unit doing?

He asks Domino.

Domino: Maybe we're on some kind of secret mission?

[Aitwo22]

She asks unsure of it herself.

Giovanni: Secret mission? What kind of secret mission?!

He asks Domino angrily.

Domino: I don't know anymore then you do but if we don't get out of here it won't be a secret.

She says turning around to face Giovanni.

Giovanni: We should withdraw our forces at once. It's strange but I have this feeling that I have been utterly defeated.
He says with a puzzled look on his face and Domino as well.

Persian: Meow?

Persian asks as he starts to groom himself.

(Author’s Note) HA HA! Mewtwo kicked his butt and Giovanni doesn’t know it!! GOOD FOR MEWTWO!! ^__________________^

We then go back to Mount. Caina.

Mewtwo: The time has come for us to depart.

Mewtwo says as he sends the clones off for their own paths all of them flying out in blue lights. Meowth talks to his clone.

Meowth: If you ever see our balloon fly by and say hello.

He says to his clone.

Meowthtwo: Meow, meow.

He meows happily to Meowth. Mewtwo smiles at this and then looks up and speeches to Ash.

(Author’s Note) Mewtwo’s never looked more attractive or sexier then when he smiles; a nice and happy smile of course. ^^

Mewtwo: Thank you, I will remember you always.

He says to Ash and company.

Ash: This time we’ll both be able to remember.

He says with a smile to Mewtwo. Then Pikachu jumps up to the rime of the basket.

Pikachu: Pikachu!

He shouts to his clone.

Pikachutwo: Pikachu.

Pikachutwo says nodding with a smile

Pikachutwo: Pika!
He says with smile on his face and nods. Then he and Meowthtwo fly out of the cave together, while Mewtwo is the last to leave. Jessie, James and Meowth are in their normal balloon, while Ash and company are in the Pikachu balloon.

Ash: HA HA HA!

Ash laughs as he watches this.

(Author’s Note) Don’t ask me where they got that balloon from, because I don’t know how they got it myself. Maybe Mewtwo created it for them?

Then Mewtwo flies past them.

Mewtwo: If someday you hear my voice, know that it's my sprite calling across time and space to yours.

He says as he splits up, himself, Meowthtwo, and Pikachutwo, as the balloons float away. We then see the bus again stops in front of Luna's home, where Luna and Cullen are waiting. The bus door’s open at this point.

Bus Driver: Luna called and said you mitt need a ride into town, so I.... Hey! You don’t even have a knapsack with you?

She says, as she notices that he doesn’t have anything with him.

Cullen: I’m not going back. Luna and I have discovered that we have a lot more in common then just Pokemon research.

He says to the bus driver.

Bus Driver: Huh?

She asks as Luna and Cullen then look at each, and then Luna giggles. We then see, Ash and company are walk through a city when suddenly a familiar deep and booming voice speaks; one that only Ash can hear.

Voice: I will remember you...always.

The voice says. Ash then stops walking.

Ash: Huh?

He asks as he looks around.

Misty: What's wrong, Ash?
She asks Ash when she sees that he stopped walking.

Ash: I know it sounds impossible, you guys. But I thought heard Mewtwo talking.

He says to Misty and Brock, who look at him with puzzled looks on their faces.

Pikachu: Pika.

Says Pikachu looking up at the sky and then Ash doses the same.

Ash: But, maybe it was just, my memory.

He says happily. Then the narrator starts talking again.

Narrator: Ash and his friends continue on their quest. But in a far away city, stories are told of a mysterious Pokemon who roams freely but always by moonlight.

We then see Mewtwo standing still upon a high flagpole on top of a building, looking up
at the moon, with a city in the background.

THE END

I first started writing this the year after the movie came out. It took me years to get it done and I think it was worth the wait. Mostly since I forgot about it for the most part. ^^;;;;

I dedicate this in honor of the Temple of Mewtwo; both the older and newer one. A special shout out to all the members of it; past and present as well as anymore who join.
As well as to all the Mewtwo fans out there. The whole thing is 70 pages long.
