Good news everyone, due to a recent discovery(I was playing around with the chat software), I found something quite interesting.

To our members with colour disabilities who have trouble reading certain colours of text: There's now a solution. Under Options(options button in chat) you can go to the Text tab, then select "use my text color for all received messages"

This will change all messages to whatever colour you choose.

As such, all colour restrictions in chat are now removed. Happy trails all.

but that's no solution, if everyones text has the same color, then it's harder to tell who's talking cus you have to read who said it. o.O it'd be a lot better if you could just disable a color << and what about new people? what if someone who doesn't know about this option and has a similar problem to me, goes to chat and gets trouble because of it? any of you thought about that?

We've made enough reasonable accommodation on your behalf, if you don't want to meet us halfway then all I can say is too bad, don't use the chat.

And if they have the same problem then they can not use the chat and either ask one of the admins(all of us probably know about this by now) or not use the chat.

And I'm not going to peel apart 5,000 lines of code AND make adjustments that were NEVER MEANT for this particular environment for 1 person, or even 10 people if it came to that. I don't have the time and an alternative is available. Spending the time required would simply be unreasonable.

Well this issue has been the main reason for me to stay out of the chat so far, so i'll just stay out of there in the future too. I'm not risking my health because some people insist on using a hard-to-read font. ( i really don't get that, why does someone use a font color that's difficult to read, do they not want their messages to be read? O_o ) And for the record, other members have mentioned about bright fonts hurting their eyes or being near impossible to read before, so it's not just me. Byebye chat for me then.
