I have two characters I use a lot, dunno if that's allowed here. Aneewais...

Species: Human (formerly)
Special Abilities: telekinesis, teleportation, general psyonics, some ectoplasmic powers

Appearance: Cyrus has the appearance of a normal Mewtwo with blue fur rather than the traditional violet, albeit he is covered with bionic implants to help mantain his power levels. Without them, the lack of control over his abilities is life-threatening. He has scalpal hair, perhaps the only remaining human characteristic about him. He is also equipped with heel springs to protect him from hurting himself when falling from great distances, though his abilities to teleport and hover usually solve that.
Background: Cyrus is...was a human who in his youth was kidnapped off the streets and used in a sinister scientific project to give humans abilities that Pokémon normally have, such as telekinesis. Much of his own body was abused and destroyed through experimentation and DNA manipulation, though through a massive accidental fusion he now has the body of a Mewtwo. He managed to escape the facility through unknown means, and his no longer remembers his past life. All he knows is life on the streets as he tries to seek revenge on the people who changed him...
Personality: Cyrus has a deep hate towards the scientific community (even if it was an illegal and evil-intended experiment) and what it has done to him, but to others he is quite friendly and very laid back. He will defend his friends to the very end, more often than not risking even the control over his powers to save the lives of others. Most of the time, however, he has noticeably inherited the traits of any other feline species, which is not limited to grooming, purring, and constant catnapping.

Species: Human (former), Blaziken (current)
Special Abilities: pyrokinesis

Appearance: Petra is a female Blaziken, which is essentially an avian species with fire as its elemental power, which gives explanation for her varied abilities with pyrokinesis. As a female of her species she has a noticeably slimmer body than most, and her "hair" (which is comprised of feather down) lays down like a female human's hair. She is not discolored like Cyrus, however. She has the same bionic implants on her chest and shoulders as Cyrus, which help control her powers and monitor life status, as well as other useful functions.
Background: Like Cyrus, she was one of the many human subjects that were experimented on in the laboratories. She showed great potential, and a rivalry with Cyrus was near imminent, but the two quickly bonded like siblings in youth. Her fate after the DNA disaster, however, remains unknown.
Personality: Petra is a bit of a fiesty tomboy to anyone else, and can be viewed as very competitive. While Cyrus may be seen as more passive and only fights for defense, Petra will willingly pick her fights -- and often win them. Even with friends, she can be quite playful -- it is not unusual to find her wrestling with others. When she is with her closest friends, however, she will willingly open herself up to them and can act very calm and friendly to them.
